I noticed that the "Batman's New Threads" was headed towards what the title of this thread says. Here are mine:
http://www.on-film.net/opinion/top_superhero_films_jett.html

5. X-MEN 2
4. SUPERMAN RETURNS
3. SPIDER-MAN 2
2. SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE
1. BATMAN BEGINS

And here's a very interesting series over at Rotten Tomatoes where they rank the best reviewed of all time: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/features/special/2007/comic/?p=1&list_sidebar_spot=1

(Note: RT includes ALL comic book films -- ex. AMERICAN SPLENDOR, GHOST WORLD -- these are simply the "super hero" flicks.)

5. SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE
4. BATMAN BEGINS
3. X-MEN 2
2. SPIDER-MAN
1. SPIDER-MAN 2

I was watching Superman Returns the other night. I just didn't like the story and that means everything to a movie.

Although I did not think it was a good movie, I did think there were some very good things about it.

Kevin Spacey was great. He is a good Lex Luthor and follow up to the great work that Gene Hackman brought to the character.

The CGI was pretty darned good. The scene of him stopping the plane crashing was fantastic. Good use of technology to show what Superman can do.

The best thing about the latest Superman movie was that Tim Burton wasn't the one to film it. :D

I went to see the Fantastic four last night and it was pretty decent but I left there thinking this, THE SILVER SURFER NEEDS HIS OWN MOVIE. This guy was awesome he made the movie.

Yes...I am sure your DVD collection is filled with films such as Ghandi, Age Of Innocence, and Driving Miss Daisy.

He is going to get his own movie...that is why they had that extended scene at the end.

The movie was pretty good no doubt. It is not on par with Batman and Spiderman, but it is good in it's own way.

I'm kinda hesitant to see this one after I hated the first one so much. I keep hearing the same thing, that Silver Surfer is amazing, and it seems like the rest of the cgi took a hit.

I like the Spawn Movie, Still waiting for number 2 :(. and The Punisher, waiting for them to finish the script. Superman Returns is about as lame as you can get with a movie, that movie spells horrible.

Fantastic 4 is more for kids. I took mine to it, but I wanted to see it as well. It is real short...like 90 minutes, so it does not take itself seriously and is pretty much just a popcorn flick. They have always skewed it that way, so there is no way they could spin it darker like Batman, and to a certain extent, Spiderman have gone.

Hey, 30 year old men still into comics have to have something to look at so they won't go all Jeffrey Dahmer.:D

Oh, and Conan will always be my Fav.

I wish they'd make a Turok movie. With todays technology it could be great.

This is the one I've been waiting for, based on one of the greatest comic book characters of all time...

Apparently there's a CGI version in the works!

What about this guy?

He's not really a comic book hero, that I know of, but he deserves his own movies.

Yeah...so I guess I am a big kid then. I can appreciate fiction...matter of fact most people can. I know you are trying to flex your maturity muscles, but it is a little pointless in this thread. I'd be curious to hear the types of movies you like though.
