Get over it guys. This is the best thing that could have happened. The vast majority of us want JG and company gone, and because of yesterdays blunder it is going to happen.

What do you guys really think is going to happen if we make the playoffs anyway? We will get rolled. We haven't beat a team with a winning record in what seems like years anyway. You really want to face the Saint's again? Or the Niners? To prolong your agony one more week? Those teams actually have starting quarterbacks playing and not back ups.

We need to take our beating like men, and enjoy it, knowing full well that Jerry will have no choice but to clean house at the end of the season.

If we limp along, and somehow stumble into the playoffs, Jerry will give this experiment one more year. That's the last thing we want.

Great, the staff is gone so who do you think he will be replaced with ? A Parcells type guy, or a Switzer/Campo/Wade/Garrett type.

I want this team to win out and go far, not because I like Jones, but because of Romo, Witten, Bryant, Lee, and Ware. They are my Dallas Cowboys.

They need to finish it off and get beat down embarrassingly these last two games.

I'm afraid winning one of the two will be enough in Jerry's eyes to keep the status quo for another year.

.

Listen, I hope you are right. But I just dont see it. I think Jerry's stubborness and ego overrule common sense.

Yup, agreed. I'm hoping Jerry will finally realized he needs a GM and then we can clean house with someone who knows what he is doing. I doubt it though.

lol.. don't get too attached to Romo, Witten, and Ware. They won't be around much longer. Get attached to Frederick, Smith, Murray, Dez, etc.

I might be indifferent, but I'll never root for them to lose. Its comical that people think firing the coaches is going to bring about some significant change. People do realize the same dope and his bumbleheaded son will still be making the next hire, acquiring the talent, and managing the cap, right? right?

Is this thread talking about wanting to LOSE games on purpose?? REALLY??
Instead of going to tbe playoffs??

You can win two games, go to the playoffs, likely get embarrassed in the first round, and then be the same inconsistent mess of a team that loses games it shouldn't regularly. Or you can drop a game or two, get a new head coach and hopefully put us down the correct path. I'm sorry but Garrett has shown nothing since his first season as our offensive coordinator that would indicate he is a decent coach. The only thing he does consistently well is find new ways to lose. I would rather attempt to fix our issues than continue to limp down the road to nowhere.

The problem is that the architect of the new building is not an architect

He has "been around architects all his life" and so thinks he knows how to do it

Doomed to failure

Bingo. We have 2 options for this team to succeed in the future. Any other option will result in failure.

1. Jerry hires a GM and allows the GM to do his job to rebuild the team.

2. Jerry dies.

Jerry's a snake oil salesman. He continues to sell because well people are buying.

He won't ever change. Too old. Too many brain cells pickled by vodka. But mostly because his ego tells him he's doing a great job. ME! ME! ME! Look at me world!

There is a pattern here.

Jerry would certainly rather lose his way than risk somebody else getting credit for winning.

Except I don't think it will happen. I didn't before Sunday and I still dont.

Today the Cowboys were on CNN because of this collapse yesterday.

CNN...not sports. Regular news. Being talked about as one of the worst losses of all time because of how it happened.

Let that sink in. Jerry won't fire anyone. He's got what he wants. Everyone talking about Dallas. Which is all he ever cares about.

I don't believe going to the play-offs is in the cards.

I don't think so either and we could very well be eliminated next week. At least that would not surprise me. Probably a good thing. We'd be eaten alive in the playoffs.
