I'd rather have success than have to go through a coaching change every few years

If you want success than you should want to get JG out of here. If that means losing two more games, oh well. I think we can handle two more losses and hopefully an end to this mess.

the public humiliation is the one thing that might make Jerruh actually do something.

I keep hearing this BS about continuity and not changing coaches every few years. Well that is total unadulterated CRAP. You get rid of someone that is not producing. Red Ball is NOT producing wins in sufficient quantity to offset the mind blowing losses. What idiot wants THAT kind of continuity?

Had Jerry made the correct decision and cleaned house of the staff rather than promote his boy we may not be in this situation. Instead he just promoted a member of the vary staff that lead us into disappointment.

Get over it guys. This is the best thing that could have happened. The vast majority of us want JG and company gone, and because of yesterdays blunder it is going to happen.

What do you guys really think is going to happen if we make the playoffs anyway? We will get rolled. We haven't beat a team with a winning record in what seems like years anyway. You really want to face the Saint's again? Or the Niners? To prolong your agony one more week? Those teams actually have starting quarterbacks playing and not back ups.

We need to take our beating like men, and enjoy it, knowing full well that Jerry will have no choice but to clean house at the end of the season.

If we limp along, and somehow stumble into the playoffs, Jerry will give this experiment one more year. That's the last thing we want.

This is exactly how I've felt since the Chicago game. This team and coaching staff needs to be completely overhauled and the best way to make sure that happens is for the Cowboys to take a few bad losses down the stretch.
Losses like yesterday's and last Monday night are attention grabbers. Those are eye opening defeats that even the master of spin, Jerry Jones, can't spin into a positive.

The talent is bad, the coaching is bad, the schemes are bad and this team is going nowhere fast.

So I'm all for seeing at least 1 more bad loss like yesterday's because I know losses like that grab Jerry's attention and forces him to make changes. Hopefully the right changes this time around, because I am one of many who thought Garrett should have been shown the door along with Ryan. Right now everyone is getting a good glimpse at why Garrett should have been escorted off the premises as well.

Like another poster said....this epic meltdown was on CNN. This is humiliating. Even for Jerry. Provided we can choke another game away or two (and I don't see any reason we can't), Jerry will have no choice but to clean house.

As much as I hate to finally join this crowd, something tells me unless the rebuild involves Jerry stepping down as GM, it really won't matter who gets fired and/or who gets hired to steer this otherwise sinking ship.

Cowboy fan expectation standards are at an all time low nowadays, but I think some 'Campo-like' days are on the near horizon, or maybe even worse.

Cowboys could have Vince Lombardi as the Head Coach, Bill Walsh as offensive coordinator, and Tom Landry as the defensive coordinator from their prime and as long as Jerry Jones is the GM, the team will have problems. Jerry thinks he is a football guy but he is not. HE is an Oil Man. Put a football guy in charge and the teams fortunes change. The Cowboys being good is good for the league but it won't happen under the current structure.

Here's the reality of the situation: Campo-like days where the Cowboys are at the bottom of the NFL, not in the middle like they have been, may be exactly what it takes to get this team competitive again. Why, you may ask? Because then we get a good dose of some top-tier draft talent instead of the middle-of-the-pack talent we have been qualifying for. Granted, T Smith was taken high, as was Claiborne, but Smith is one of the few players who services I would retain if the roster decisions were left to me and Claiborne is looking more and more like a bust every week.

Jerry has already said he's bringing back Garrett and Kiffin for another year.

Get used to it.

Bingo. We have 2 options for this team to succeed in the future. Any other option will result in failure.

1. Jerry hires a GM and allows the GM to do his job to rebuild the team.

2. Jerry dies.

Option number one ain't happening and number two is probably a long ways off, and even then his evil spawn will take over. So I'm adding a third option.

3. Jerry moves the team to LA, it being the media center of the US will give him untold opportunities to have his face on TV. That leaves the city of Dallas open to an expansion franchise and we fans a chance at a professionally run team with a real GM.

That is honestly the only way I see out of this and it is a damn shame.

Jerry would certainly rather lose his way than risk somebody else getting credit for winning.

If i could give this man a 1000 likes, I would. This sums up Jerruh and why the circus will always be live from Arlington, TX.

Let's hope he claims he was drunk when he said that & that would be an out to fire them. It's not like either will be hurting for money.
