It is way better for us to stay at the 5th seed and play at Tampa. Yeah, Brady can still sling it around the yard but Tampa aint exactly a powerhouse, I still like our chances against the Bucs.

Packers aint losing at home in Lambeau to the freaking Lions with a playoff spot on the line. So Packers will be the #7 seed and play at the #2 seed 49ers. Rogers vs Purdy in the playoffs has me thinking the Pack will win this, even with that monster defense the 49ers have. This would be HUGE for Dallas if they can avoid having to play the 49ers.

If the Packers beat the 49ers, they then go to Philly and play a gimpy Hurts. Again, I think Rogers would have the edge here and have a legit chance to beat the Eagles.

Assuming we beat the Bucs, we would then face either the Vikes or the Giants in the second round. We already smacked the Vikes around this year and we swept the Giants. So I like our chances against those teams.

Then we finally have to face our grim reaper Aaron Rogers in the NFC Title game. So, Go PHILLY!!!!

Brady was drafted in 2000, and Dallas has never beaten him - no matter what team he played for.

Wishing to play Brady in the playoffs, something that he has clearly figured out, is asinine.

Dallas's best case scenario in my opinion is getting the bye (which is still technically on the table) or hosting the Lions/Packers at home.

You're forgetting the fact or are unaware of the fact that the NFL reseeds after each round, highest seed gets the lowest seed. So we don't automatically face the Giants or Vikings if we beat Tampa. I laid it out in another thread, there's actually no way we face the Vikings in the divisional round.

Let's just say we get #5 and the WC teams are us, Giants, Packers and Philly gets #1 seed.

Giants get Vikings
Packers get 49ers
We get Brady

If we win and both Giants and Packers lose, we go to Philly
If we win and Giants win and Packers lose, we go to San Francisco
If we win and Packers win and Giants lose, we go to San Francisco
If we win and both Giants and Packers win, we would play the Giants in a home game and Packers would go to Philly

If we lose, who cares what happens after

The #1 team I want to play is TB and #2 isn't close. To kick TB12 out of the playoffs would be most satisfying.

I want to see that sour look on his face when the game is over and him realizing their season just ended at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys.

Yeah, Iggs could have gone us a favor by winning today but they choked. This team really needs a week off to regroup on defense and to heal up.

Correction Vikings can actually still get #2 seed if they win and 49ers lose, then Vikings would face Packers and Giants would face 49ers and in that scenario we could face the Vikings in the divisional round. But 49ers just have to beat the Cardinals at home next week.

#1 is best just for the bye, but it’s a long shot as both Philly and sf need to lose

Especially because Giants have nothing to play for and it's at Philly, and 49ers get Cardinals at home with no Kyler Murray. I could see maybe one of those happening because anything can happen but not both.

Your post is all wrong bro, there is a very good chance we play the Vikes in the Divisional Round.

#1 seed Philly gets the bye
#2 seed is 49ers and they will host the #7 seed Packers
#3 seed is Vikes and they will host the #6 seed Giants
#4 seed is Tampa and will host the #5 seed Cowboys.

If the Packers win, they will be the lowest seed going into the second round and will play at Philly, there is no other path for them as the 7th seed.

Thus, if 5 seed Dallas beats the Bucs there are two possible matchups in the Divisional Round. Dallas the 5th seed would play at #3 Vikes or Dallas the 5th seed would host the #6 seed Giants. There is no other path.

So yeah, please explain how there is no possible way for us to play the Vikes if the Packers beat the 49ers.

The packers haven’t even made the playoffs yet. They have to beat the lions first.

I would much rather the cowboys play at home.

Ok I think neither of us have it right you're right if Packers win they go to Philly and we face whoever the other team left is Giants or Vikings, but if Packers lose then there's several variants. The Giants become the lowest seed if they win they go to Philly, but if they also lose we become the lowest seed and go to Philly, then 49ers would face Vikings. I was wrong that we couldn't face Vikings but you were wrong in saying we could only face Vikings or Giants. If Packers and Giants lose we're the lowest remaining seed thus we have to go to Philly.

I don't know. It's up to the football gods. I'll take whoever we get and hope for the best. One thing that I do know is that Eagles aren't winning anything and the Vikings aren't either.

Didn't fear playing anybody anywhere during the Jimmy era. That is what it takes to win a SB. Bring 'em all on at this point. If we still can't get by Brady and/or Rogers then it wasn't meant to be anyway.

Yeah, I know, I'll be plenty frustrated to lose again to either one, but I'm sick of being scared of opponents.

this is not true. If the #5 seed (cowboys) beats the #4 (Bucs) and the #7 (packers) beat the #2 (49ers) and the #3 (vikings) beat the #6 (giants) then the packers would go to Philly and we would go to Minnesota.
