History of 0-7 vs Brady means something, this franchises years and years and years of playoff failures mean something. I saw the same exact posts and comments last season, the we should beat anyone anywhere comments if you want to go to the SB, SF is a good matchup for the boys, they can’t lose to Jimmy G, the boys are home and on and on, and what happened? They collapsed with an unprepared disaster. Other than then year changing, the coach is still the same, owner is still the same, most of the players are still the same, call me negative etc. but we’ve been down this road so many freaking times always to end in disappointment and the boys since 95 have done nothing to prove me wrong. Until they do I will always see the boys coming up real small in the postseason because for the boys history has repeated itself over and over and over again

Maybe they don't want to play Dallas. :D
Dallas is a good team they can win both games it just won’t be easy. I think the Cowboys have a better chance then they did last playoffs vs San Francisco. We just need to get LVE, Hankins, and Badciz back.

It is way better for us to stay at the 5th seed and play at Tampa. Yeah, Brady can still sling it around the yard but Tampa aint exactly a powerhouse, I still like our chances against the Bucs.

Packers aint losing at home in Lambeau to the freaking Lions with a playoff spot on the line. So Packers will be the #7 seed and play at the #2 seed 49ers. Rogers vs Purdy in the playoffs has me thinking the Pack will win this, even with that monster defense the 49ers have. This would be HUGE for Dallas if they can avoid having to play the 49ers.

If the Packers beat the 49ers, they then go to Philly and play a gimpy Hurts. Again, I think Rogers would have the edge here and have a legit chance to beat the Eagles.

Assuming we beat the Bucs, we would then face either the Vikes or the Giants in the second round. We already smacked the Vikes around this year and we swept the Giants. So I like our chances against those teams.

Then we finally have to face our grim reaper Aaron Rogers in the NFC Title game. So, Go PHILLY!!!!
I think ending up with 2nd seed might be the best..
at 2nd seed we get Giants at home and then Vikings at home....then go to SF or host eagles or host bucs .

No, it is way better to get the 1 seed and play no one…

You're forgetting the fact or are unaware of the fact that the NFL reseeds after each round, highest seed gets the lowest seed. So we don't automatically face the Giants or Vikings if we beat Tampa. I laid it out in another thread, there's actually no way we face the Vikings in the divisional round.

Let's just say we get #5 and the WC teams are us, Giants, Packers and Philly gets #1 seed.

Giants get Vikings
Packers get 49ers
We get Brady

If we win and both Giants and Packers lose, we go to Philly
If we win and Giants win and Packers lose, we go to San Francisco
If we win and Packers win and Giants lose, we go to San Francisco
If we win and both Giants and Packers win, we would play the Giants in a home game and Packers would go to Philly

If we lose, who cares what happens after

you’re wrong. If we beat TB, the Vikings beat the Giants and the packers beat the 49ers, we go to Minnesota. The Eagles would get the Packers.

I ain't afraid of no ghost. The ghost of our past games against Rogers should be vanquished. The ghost of our past games against Brady should be vanquished. I want the past to hunt us no longer. I want the Bucs first, then Green Bay and Philly. I don't think like a politician, I think like a soldier. Bring it on.

LETS GO COWBOYS !!!!!

Agreed.

I said the same thing (though not in full details as you did) last night...

This makes my brain hurt.
All I know is you can't depend on anything or any team in the NFL today

Dallas is the 5th seed
Live with it

And most likely, Dallas will go to Philly in the divisional round

If we somehow win against Tampa, I think we end up going to SF. I honestly think there is no way the Vikings beat the Giants

As for the thread title…..the #1 seed is always best, as you not only get a free “win” but you get home field the whole way.

I think the Vikings and 49ers both win

I could see them falling but not expecting it
The Vikings laid 2 eggs this year, but those games were not norm

Your post is all wrong bro, there is a very good chance we play the Vikes in the Divisional Round.

#1 seed Philly gets the bye
#2 seed is 49ers and they will host the #7 seed Packers
#3 seed is Vikes and they will host the #6 seed Giants
#4 seed is Tampa and will host the #5 seed Cowboys.

If the Packers win, they will be the lowest seed going into the second round and will play at Philly, there is no other path for them as the 7th seed.

Thus, if 5 seed Dallas beats the Bucs there are two possible matchups in the Divisional Round. Dallas the 5th seed would play at #3 Vikes or Dallas the 5th seed would host the #6 seed Giants. There is no other path.

So yeah, please explain how there is no possible way for us to play the Vikes if the Packers beat the 49ers.

This is one reason why Cowboys need more playoff success. Our fans have forgotten how seeding works!

Listen to us. We're scared of Tampa and Brady, Rogers and Green Bay, San Francisco and their defense, the Boogey man and the night.

If we're a Super Bowl team, we simply CAN'T dodge them.

Bring 'em one, bring 'em all.

We'll have to beat one of them to get to the Super Bowl anyway.
