CFZ Best To Stay At the 5 Seed

this is not true. If the #5 seed (cowboys) beats the #4 (Bucs) and the #7 (packers) beat the #2 (49ers) and the #3 (vikings) beat the #6 (giants) then the packers would go to Philly and we would go to Minnesota.

I know I screwed up but so did the OP when he said we can only face Giants or Vikings. We can still go to Philly as well. Lowest seed automatically goes there, we're the lowest seed if Packers and Giants both lose.

Anyway the Packers aren't even in the playoffs yet we'll just have to see.

lol idk I don’t think playoff seeding is that difficult. It’s really as simple as highest seed goes to play lowest seed in the next round.

It is way better for us to stay at the 5th seed and play at Tampa. Yeah, Brady can still sling it around the yard but Tampa aint exactly a powerhouse, I still like our chances against the Bucs.

Packers aint losing at home in Lambeau to the freaking Lions with a playoff spot on the line. So Packers will be the #7 seed and play at the #2 seed 49ers. Rogers vs Purdy in the playoffs has me thinking the Pack will win this, even with that monster defense the 49ers have. This would be HUGE for Dallas if they can avoid having to play the 49ers.

If the Packers beat the 49ers, they then go to Philly and play a gimpy Hurts. Again, I think Rogers would have the edge here and have a legit chance to beat the Eagles.

Assuming we beat the Bucs, we would then face either the Vikes or the Giants in the second round. We already smacked the Vikes around this year and we swept the Giants. So I like our chances against those teams.

Then we finally have to face our grim reaper Aaron Rogers in the NFC Title game. So, Go PHILLY!!!!

Did you watch the Tampa Bay - Carolina Panthers game today?

Brady completed 34-of-45 passes for 432 yards and three touchdowns -- all three of which went to Mike Evans. The star wideout caught 10 passes for 207 yards and the three scores, while Chris Godwin also impressed with 120 receiving yards on nine catches.

Get the highest seed possible, Dallas plays better indoors………this isn’t rocket surgery :muttley:

The #1 team I want to play is TB and #2 isn't close. To kick TB12 out of the playoffs would be most satisfying.

I want to see that sour look on his face when the game is over and him realizing their season just ended at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys.

I too want us to go to Tampa and beat their QB up and make him retire once and for all.

Against Carolina without JC Horn.

Didn't fear playing anybody anywhere during the Jimmy era. That is what it takes to win a SB. Bring 'em all on at this point. If we still can't get by Brady and/or Rogers then it wasn't meant to be anyway.

Yeah, I know, I'll be plenty frustrated to lose again to either one, but I'm sick of being scared of opponents.

Good point bro.

This is the playoffs, you dont get to play the Sisters of the Poor.

You got to play the best of the best to win a ring, that means beating Brady or Rogers or Philly again or the 49ers that everybody fears. If we are good enough we will win, if we are not that so be it.

I want no part of playing Aaron Rogers in the first round, that would be a nightmare scenario for us.
I do because our team especially at home is better than Green Bay. Rodgers didn't even do anything today. Special and Defense scored most of their points early in that game. Defense has kind of carried for the past few games. We're better than the Packers. Don't care who we play but if it's the Packers I love our chances especially at home.

Don’t get fans going all 5 year old girlish worry so much about other teams. How about concerning yourself with how the Cowboys can play these teams instead? I guess pulling the sheets over your head is easier.

the OP is 100% correct. You are wrong. He’s predicting a GB upset over SF. It’s not that hard to understand. Of course it’s not a guaranteed win but that’s his prediction

The odds are we are finishing in the 5th seed…but you just never know. The Giants coach seems like the type of guy that will go for the win on Sunday just to keep momentum going…so I do think we have an outside shot at the division…

We are in the playoffs. The team fears no other team.

But the fans sure do, or some of them do.

We play who we play. Time to go win some games.

So they had a lot of yards, against a 6-10 team...ok....
