Brady Quinn is sitting there for us to take...Jerry trades down, picks up a #1 the following year.

With the trade down, we take Anthony Spencer. With the pick the following year, we take Felix Jones.

Anyone questioning Jerry anymore ?

I'm sure some idiot will try to give Parcells credit for it.

If only we'd have drafted Brady Quinn. Just think where we could be.

Wow, I've totally forgotten who those picks turned into. Spencer and Felix, really? Wow.

I'll repeat what I said the other night. For the past five or so years, we've been one of the best-run organizations in football. It's just that nobody wants to admit it.

Yeah, the Roy trade was a panic move. Every team misses -- and it's been one of our few whifs in terms of giving up too much for a guy.

Jerry and a broken clock have a lot in common.

That was a good move though.

That is the most one sided trade in not only Cowboys, not only NFL, not only Football, not only American Sports, ALL Sports in history.

He can't top that.

Yeah, since passing on Brady Quinn ranks as one of the few good moves Jerry has made recently ... ? Umm, sorry, but no.

I'd argue the best trade Jerry made... is the one he didn't make.

And that's when the Cowboys were offered a third rounder for Tony Romo.

The only thing is that it wasn't quite that simple.

From what I recall, we traded down a fair bit into the second round with the Browns and got the next year's #1 thrown in (on the one year when the Browns ended up being good). However, we had traded down too far and were risking someone else taking Spencer. So we then ended up trading back up again to grab Spencer.

Best run organizations? Based on what? One playoff win in 16 years? I am a huge Cowboy fan but c'mon!

The play off drought has made allot of folks to happy and satisfied with one playoff victory. Now I'm ecstatic to win last night but I expect way more from this team.
