But my all-time favorite TV character is Al Swearengen from HBO's Deadwood

I usually lean towards Comedy but this guy is really starting to grow on me. It's funny because he's not the kind of person I'd probably want to pattern myself after but he's pretty interesting, just the same.

I wish the monster wouldn't of clouded my view of John, but unfortunately he did. Plus I was never fond of the obsession John had with thinking the island was the end all of everything.

Stanton did such a good job with Roman. He is one of the only recent characters to really give me the creeps.

As far as True Blood...I think Lafayette (sp?) is one of the more interesting characters on the show.

There's something about his cold, calculating ways that makes him interesting IMO.
