Truthfully most remakes fall flat for me.. Also Hollyweird blew chances for good TV Series movies to the big screen and they were awful

1-Point Break--I hated this remake,it wasn't necessary and truthfully I really thought it was garbage. We are so cool with a bunch of crappy tattoos. Johnny Utah follows Bodi because why??? It made no sense. What to get a thrill climbing rocks????

2-Brady Bunch-Great family TV Series and Hollyweird who hates families made them a joke.

3-Charlie's Angels-GIRLPOWER!!! Nah I rather have had the hottest chicks at that time be the Angels probably Pam Anderson,Jennifer Lopez, and maybe Catherine Zeta-Jones. They made them unbelievable with the fake martial arts nonsense.

4-The Lost Boys----just terrible

6-Freddy Krueger--No one beats Robert Englund being Freddy

7-Alien Ressurrection-Boring

8-The Green Hornet-I completely hate Seth Rogan for this. This was his whole movie and it was horrible from directing, script,to his garbage acting.

Well there is some of mine ,how about yours???

Some others

1- Wild Wild West-Completely destroyed even the TV series to be in reruns

2-The Pink Panther-Steve Martin is not funny anymore

3-Ghostbusters-That remake needs to be destroyed and buried forever

4-Walking Tall- just another movie living off the rep of the original

5-Baywatch-I didn't see it because I knew it was going to be a stinkbomb

6-Chips-See Baywatch above

For Best, I have to give it to 21 Jump Street. I expected it to be like the Baywatch or Chips type of flop, but both 21 and 22 Jump street are great.

Arthur – Russell Brand sucks.
Nightmare On Elm Street – really?
Herbie – the original was iconic.
Godzilla – pick any remake you want.
The Karate Kid – The remake just sucked.
Probably missing a Stallone movie in there.

Stallone just got popped for bringing a bunch of HGH across the border (international/airport). Or so I'm told :)

Who knows. Sly is the shiznit!!! :yourock::yourock:

I have never seen a movie remake that was better than the original. If the original movie was so good that someone made a remake of it later on, there was no way for the remake to live up to the feeling the original provided even if the filming, acting and story quality were better. If the original movie was really bad, the remake at best felt like a completely different movie and at worst, reminded you just how bad the original movie was.

There are a few TV show remakes that I liked but that had less to do with a "new idea" and more to do with modern filming and acting quality that really made the remake feel like a completely different show rather than a remake.

Rob Zombie's "Halloween" remake... Just a POS.

And then he couldn't stop with the first one and gave us a remake of #2 that was plain goofy.

As bad as those were...at least they were better than lords of salem.

And Frankly house of a thousands corpses was just a rip off of texas chainsaw massacre IMO.

The only one of his films I liked was his one sequel...The devil's rejects.
