I think both Kazee and King could excel in a zone system and we wouldn't have to spend a one on either of them.
Came into mention Kazee. He's a safety at CB in run support. And with excellent ball skills? I'm all over him in the 4th, and wouldn't be mad if we took him at 92.
Kazee is the best zone CB in the draft. He could be a major Anthony Brown level steal for us in the mid rounds as man teams may have little to know interest in him

so one of the narratives around Mo and Carr is that they were brought in for Rob Ryan's press man scheme and were poor fits for the Tampa 2 of rod. Personally I just don't think either are very good but that's another story. For the sake of argument let's say it's true. Presumably then we are looking for corners that excel in zone coverage. So the question is zoners, out of the possible first round corners of Conley, White, king and the kid from Colorado, who is the best in zone coverage?
Dallas doesn't need a zone specific corner. Because they do run a lot of man now. They do need a guy who can play zone tho but able to play up on the we too. I really like Rasul Douglas cb WVU

I loved Rasul until he ran the 4.59. I'm all for tape over stopwatch, but shouldn't there be a limit to speed from a CB you need to see. His 3-cone looked okay.

I'm asking honestly for differing opinions. I've been of a mind I need corners to run 4.5 at the worst. I could use some education.

You know this how?
Man teams having little interest in him?

That's just a guess, but his sjze and long speed limitations may have him as no more then a sub package CB in a man scheme. In a zone scheme he will be able to play all three position on all three downs

Rasul makes up for speed with great position and size. His speed is what's dropped him. I think he's the smartest cb in this draft. And those type of players seem to be what the team has been going after
