Elway made the SB in year 3 I believe great QBs show high end talent early Dak has shown the ability to disappear in the playoffs hard to believe a QB who hasn’t sniffed a CCGin 8 seasons is winning anything without 25 HOF type players at every position and the Defense being the greatest in NFL history. No one would say or have any problem with Dak if he showed something special come playoff time, it’s a real shame Jerry will condemn the Cowboys to failure for as many years as he extends Dak for because he’s to old to take a chance on changing it.

Elway carried those early Bronco teams to the Sb. Dak has never come close to that.

I honestly think this was always the plan. They were never going to let him leave. I have a feeling Stephen knew back in March/April exactly how much it was going to cost to extend Dak. He wanted to see if he could get done for a little less..........hint, Jerry waiting for the leaves to fall comment.

Jerry has absolutely no intention of resigning him. But that wouldn't look good if he came out into the media and said that.

That’s basically what he said in interview on WFAA last night from Oxnard. That he expects to get a deal done .
