I am watching beyond the glory, about Jerry Rice, man that guy was great, he was determined, driven all of the things that you can think of to say how great he was.

I have been a Cowboys fan since I was 1yrs old, maybe even sooner than, and I will be 42 in November, and the Cowboys would be the only team I would sit down and watch. I love football, but the Cowboys is the only team that can get my undivided attention, now I'll watch other games but I will not be focused on the game, I could be doing a million other things while those teams play, or be sleep and the game is just on, but not when the Boys play, I do not like any interruptions, now that everyone knows that, when Rice was with the 49ers and they were rolling with he and Montana/Young, they got that same attention, now when they played each other I had to go against Rice.

But just now while watching the Beyond the Glory show, with some things that Rice went thru and his mentality about the game and him demanding the ball, I now know where T.O. got his attitude and workout regimen from, Rice was T.O.'s mentor.

Rice was booed by his own fans in his rookie season, Rice went off on the team, for not giving there best Owens did the same in Cisco, which incidently was the start to the persona of T.O.

Owens also feels that if you get him the ball the team will win. Rice had a thing with the media, except he put that negative fire out quick, T.O. did not take heed in that dept. LOL

But I like T.O., I like any athlete that goes out and plays when it is time to play, I really do not care about all the other stuff, what he does off the field, does not concern me, as long as it is nothing that will keep him from playing on game day.

I really do not like the media, 1996 is when I found out how they are and every since then I do not believe anything they print, until I have researched it to see how accurate they are, or how they have twisted things around.
