Don't forget O'Cyrus Torrence who Buffalo drafted the next pick after we took Goonmaker.

No they won’t. The reason Armstrong been so productive is because the Skins actually get interior push. Payne is a somebody
Commanders defense was just as fragile as DQ's defenses on the Cowboys. Great interior defensive linemen can overcome a lot.

And I can't be the only one who notices that the Chiefs always get a huge push from Chris Jones in critical defensive stands.

Mahomes is the star, and rightly so, but Jones is ALWAYS making big plays when they need him most.

Looking forward to the day when we have some dominance again at DT. Am I supposed to be going with the "he's still learning" defenders on Mazi Smith?

Unless they are a high 1st round pick, it takes time to develop linemen.

Biadacz and Armstrong were both labeled "trash" on this sight earlier in their careers. Some posters refuse to acknowledge that they have improved over the past two seasons.

Many fans are just too quick to judge young players drafted in the mid rounds.

Did these players really ask for too much? Two GM's in this league whose teams made it to the conference championship didn't seem to think so. I would tend to put more faith in their abilities to evaluate than I would Jerry.

We never played Connor at Center where he's found a home and is now one of the best in the game at that position. Both were guys Stephen thought we couldn't afford anymore.

Well Connor was trash.......at G. He's not playing G in Buffalo. Biadez got better but he was replacing Freddie who was a superior player.. So, fans viewed him as a downgrade and rightly so.

I had no issue letting both of these players go. Neither were that great with Dallas. Biadasz was a weak link on the OL. He still struggles with big strong DTs. I think the ceiling for Beebe is higher. What the Eagles do that the Cowboys don't is anticipate these losses. The Eagles knew Kelce would be retiring and drafted Jurgens. When Kelce retired Jurgens was waiting in the wings. The Cowboys have no plan. They kind of wing it every year and wait for things to happen.

IMO neither guy was Frederick, obviously. and I think that's an issue for fans and teams trying to rebuild after a great player leaves.
Same thing will happen with Martin.

My only concern is that Dallas will allow a hole to occur and then use the draft to hopefully not only get a day 1 starter but hope that the drafted guy is better.
Can't improve depth, plan for the future, or improve on more positions when you let the average guys walk and have to use the draft that year to replace.
