Biadasz, meh, no problem letting him walk. McGovern I always liked. Wish we could have kept him somehow. Maybe Tyler would even be our LT now and we'd be set there.
So we chose not to keep them when their contracts were up that doesn't make them cut that makes them not worth the money who cares what teams are starting on and if they're part of a playoff run it doesn't matter does it make them better players I mean I don't understand your point other players leave other teams and have some success in this case the Cowboys are absolutely correct including Connor Williams of cutting them and moving to another player because the players they drafted were as good for rookie deals you have them on rookie deals versus overpaying them...Biadasz and McGovern - we cut them both bc they weren’t good enough yet they are the starting centers for the Commanders and the Bills.
you mean like other teams have to make these decisions??They will probably do the same with Osa and will pay for it. If Eberflus is the DC 3T is the most important player
It is hard to pay mid tier guys when they have grossly overpaid their "stars". I'm ok with letting these guys go with how the draft went but letting some of the defensive backups all leave kinda hurt their depth.
Really doesn't it applies to both of them they were not worth the money right now we have bass Hoffman and BB all as good or better than McGovern would have ever been it doesn't matter how they're playing now it's what they got paid versus what we're paying and getting from these other guys Hoffman is just as good if not better than McGovern BB is definitely better than Tyler therefore just those two replace those two just fine Connor Williams almost had a redefining moment until he blew his knee out and then couldn't come back and then got hurt again and now he's retired people were saying him last year.Roller skates Biadasz still not worth the contract,,, McGovern hurts though.
all facts .... and if we had kept Baidasz at C we could have drafted Beebe at OG and been fine. The Cowboys simply prefer comp picks over paying mid tier guys….the issue is those mid tier guys are needed.
I think Dorrance Armstrong has had like 4 sacks in the postseason as well.
Yes but we have rookies and undrafted free agents who are playing just as good or better under rookie deals that's the point you don't pay those guys that kind of money when you can replace them on cheaper contracts that is the way the NFL works and we are better off now without them just because they're good and play every now and again above average does not make them worth keeping for the money they got to leave..Biadasz, meh, no problem letting him walk. No you're wrong because Hoffman is AS GOOD as TB, sorry we got replacements in the draft on rookie deals so you don't have to pay a guy like TB the access code money he doesn't truly live up to we had the players here already even bass as a guard is probably as good or similar to TB so why do you pay them?all facts .... and if we had kept Baidasz at C we could have drafted Beebe at OG and been fine.
LOL ok we can definitely disagee about Hoffman vs Tyler B. - Bass hasnt even beat out Hoffman and Hoffman is just average at best. Tyler B has a Pro Bowl selection and was definitely way over average. No you're wrong because Hoffman is AS GOOD as TB, sorry we got replacements in the draft on rookie deals so you don't have to pay a guy like TB the access code money he doesn't truly live up to we had the players here already even bass as a guard is probably as good or similar to TB so why do you pay them?
We will I'm telling you for the money Hoffman is as good.. You can say otherwise but the only reason he got a Pro Bowl nod which is not a very good barometer anymore most people can get a Pro Bowl nod jalen Smith was a pro bowler !!! dude seriously ,do we need to have this discussion on the Pro Bowl being watered down it's not the same as it used to be...LOL ok we can definitely disagee about Hoffman vs Tyler B. - Bass hasnt even beat out Hoffman and Hoffman is just average at best. How do you know the Cowboys didn't want Torrence? What supposed reason did they pass on him? Instead, They drafted an injured 25-year-old TE who has been a bust. Torrence was a starter on the Bill's last night. You mean the player the Cowboys didn't want? They passed on him for a reason.
Oh wow, T.J.Watt didn't "fit our scheme" either. How did that work out for us? Maybe get rid of the trash coaches we have and get some competent coaches that could make a Watt or Torrence work.Because he didn’t fit our blocking scheme
You're saying that thirty other teams made mistakes on those two you mean that TJ watts somehow was available at 26 I think it helps to know that somehow there was a note or a red flag or some concern in that draft over him I don't know why and no it wasn't the right choice but hindsight really makes you special don't it look they made a mistake other teams made the same mistake I mean how does Derek Henry make it to the second round how does Tom Brady make it to the sixth round how do you pick pretty last player taken in the draft I mean we got Prescott I know he's not a big fan around here but he got him in the fourth round how does the first round talent fall to the fourth round or the 6th or 7th round or you pick up a guy like Deron bland our coaches made him work and he's a fifth round pick look we're not gonna go round and round on this because all teams make these mistakes they pass on good players they reach for bad players sometimes they pick me over best player available and sometimes it backfires... If you need a good example of that the San Francisco 49ers is supposed to be smarter than us they gave up three first round picks for a guy most of us saw had no college experience and we were wondering why they would give up that kind of draft capital to move up you know why they did it because it happens they took a risk they failed it didn't work out..Oh wow, T.J.Watt didn't "fit our scheme" either. Think about who is making the player decisions on the Cowboys and there is your answer to why these two don't play here anymore.....LOL!Biadasz and McGovern - we cut them both bc they weren’t good enough yet they are the starting centers for the Commanders and the Bills.
No one can.And they are still not good enough. Biadasz still can't handle big DT like Jalen Carter
You can't be serious??????????? Anytime you have a GM like the Cowboys have, you're going to let the better players fall through the cracks just so that you can make a point on who is in charge. That's the type of GM that the Cowboys have who is running this organization into the ground. There isn't one other team in the NFL that was going to offer Prescott what he demanded from the Cowboys, not one. JJ was the only idiot who blinked! There is no way in hell you're telling me that somehow we made a mistake letting McGovern and Tyler go when we had their draft replacements and the guys on this team that are playing as good or better for way less money that's the key here but you have to bring in other names for no reason but good for the Buffalo Bills and whoever this guy is that they pick but yes TJ Watt will forever go down as a major mistake that 25 other teams with the Cowboys let them pass up until Pittsburgh went and got him it happens a lot.. This is not a Cowboys problem this is how sports work this is how the league works..
