Don't look now but you just made another unfounded assertion, all your talking points have been dissected and found wanting, sometimes with damningly contrary evidence to ignore inordr to accept your views, I'm satisfied non aggie observers understand this.

WHERE?

I'll leave you in peace now, just dial down your homerism, there's a reason people are rooting against you in two conferences and it ain't driven by envy.

The SEC has no reason to root against us, save when they play us on the field. By all accounts they are happy to have us. We got a standing ovation from 40,000 Arky fans in Jerryworld on Saturday, and every school president has sent a formal letter of welcome. OU and Texas just don't care, because A&M doesnt have much effect on where they end up. I can definitely see why Baylor hates us, though.

:) Whatever helps you feel better, but alas reality beckons, the SEC is not impressed, the Big 12 is waiving good riddance, so by your own admission the most positive emotion you are garnering is apathy...apparently with a token of sportsmanship before slamming you into the turf, i realize that gesture was a foreign concept to Aggies...sportsmanship, who woulda' thought of such.

Who cares if the SEC is "impressed" (whatever the hell that means). They are happy to have us if for no other reason than they will get a refined, even more lucrative TV deal out of it and now have a huge place in the Texas market.

Trust has everything to do with it. OU has made no secret of the fact that they are against he Longhorn network and don't believe Dodds has been truthful with the rest of the conference through all of this.

This is rubbish. If they were against it, why would they be planning to have their own network up and running by next season? No, I'm afraid that this does not hold water.

This article doesn't prove anything. It only says that they have authority to make a decision. That decision could be anything.

I hear a lot of talk about Missouri jumping to another conference but I have seen nothing that indicates any offers from any other conferences have been given. Is there an offer out there or is this just a lot of speculation?
