Big failure by the GM

Link to prove that please
The QB that lead the NFL in INTs last year threw 15 INTS.
Dak had 4 INTS through 4 1/2 games. That is on pace for 14ish INTS.

The NFL leader in fumbles last year had 11 fumbles.
Dak had 3 fumbles (all 3 were lost fumbles) through 4 1/2 games. That is on pace for 10ish (if rounded would be 11) fumbles..

So when he was on pace for 1 less INTs than the QB that threw the most INTs and also was on pace for 1 less fumble (the same amount if you round though) than the player with the most fumbles. What do you get?

P.S The guy that led in INTS and the guy that lead in fumbles are not the same person.

Gilbert played ok as long as they weren't in the redzone (and ok is a little generous), but Rush and 'Nooch played crappy, and do not belong in the NFL. Their level of play and comprehension based on players around them and the speed of the game was poor.
Narrow it down even more Rush carried himself a little better at the NFL level but his targets always seems to be those 2 or 3 yard dumpoffs. Nooch - just bad, he has a long way to go to even hope to play in NFL
How good should they look playing with practice squad players?

Fitzpatrick was on pace for more than 15 interceptions.

The QB play last night was nothing less than atrocious. How the team could be this far in to training camp with these backup QB’s and think that they could play is mind boggling. They’ve seen them every OTA, mini-camp and every day in training camp. Really disappointed they haven’t gotten a decent backup from day one so that he could get acclimated with the offense. They better get off their rear ends fast and bring someone in because if Dak goes down for a few games, we ain’t winning squat.
What's new, as I agree we need anotherqb, it's also played out. Things go wrong BAD Gm and front office. Things go good BAD Gm and front office. Problem is they listen to the coaches too much which can be bad or good

I've got a feeling we go with just Gilbert as the only backup but would likely seek out someone like Rivers if Dak goes down for an extended time.

..have to differ here. Gilbert did a very good job. I saw command of offense and moving of chains with bunch of rookies. On other hand Rush and Dinooky made offense look flat.

You can not judge and predict a season that way. Does not work unless you are Nostradamus

I responded to a person that said Dak was on pace to throw for 6,000 yards.

I didn't see you telling him that he can't do it. Wonder why?

As with every year, I feel like numerous QBs will come available after final cuts.

That’s kind of my thought. I don’t think this group now will be our final group. I’m assuming in the next 4 weeks we will see some vet cuts.
