Regardless of whether Kelly stays or not, the Giants are a much greater threat in the division going forward, in my opinion

In what fashion? This may be true but just looking at their roster.....they have one legit game changing playmaker and that's Odell and his dominance is dependent on whether or not Eli is having a good year.

Sounds like he wants to be where there is a QB. Philly doesn't have one.

Anything that disrupts that franchise is fine by me! You would think that management would be eager to deliver their handpicked coach whatever he needs instead of firing his trusted contributors, but it's not uncommon for an entrenched bureaucracy to put it's own welfare above those it is supposedly serving.

The San Francisco job would be more desirable for him, I'm sure.

I checked out Bleeding Green Nation and their header headline was "Breaking News: What Is Going On"

Looks like the organization is in Off Season meltdown mode.... Thank you Santa for the late Christmas gift!

Well their receiving group looks top shelf next year.
Their line play on both sides needs to be addressed in a major way.
Eli is coming up on a contract soon. So he will command a large chunk soon.

I wouldnt mind if he shoved off to Buffalo if you ask me. I wouldnt want to see him land in SF either.

I hope this isn't true, we've have some good success against him and he's apparently moving all there stars out of town. DJax and I've heard rumblings that shady might be on the way out.

Heck we're 2 and 2 against him with a Back up QB and "short rest" injured QB. The other too "regular" games we smoked them!

Keep Chip around!

From what I'm hearing on local radio here in the Philly area is that it's a power struggle deal like Harbaugh in SF. Tom Gamble (who was apparently escorted out of their building) was Chip's "football guy" in the front office while the eagles GM Howie Roseman was merely a "good cap guy" (chip's exact words) so this has created a Chip vs Roseman power struggle for personal moves.

1 of 3 things are expected to happen

1. Eagles give in and actually give Chip a higher title than just head coach.
2. A different "football guy" of Chip's liking is brought into the front office
3. Chip leaves

If the Eagles were to let Chip out of his contract could they throw in some kind of one year "no compete" clause?

The great part of this, if true, is that it would mean Roseman stays. For him to be 'infuriated' about Kelly giving him a compliment about his salary cap expertise and to construe that as a slight against him is just the type of egotistical, lunatic that looks for yes-men head coaches that can make Philly an afterthought each year.

Hey Howie....I heard Kelly slept with your wife, too!

YR

Doesn't sound much different than how Jerry Jones has behaved, to be honest with you.

The only thing that needs to happen now is for Chip Kelly to be sitting at a table at a lavish NFL party with Andy Reid, Joe Banner, Tom Gamble and their wives, and they are sharing Howie Roseman stories. Roseman then comes over to the table, and looks to toast the people responsible for the greatness of the Eagles. Once he realizes that he was responsible for firing three of the people at the table, they refuse to join the toast. Roseman then skulks off, muttering that any one of 500 coaches could have taken the team from 9-3 and in first place to 10-6 and out of the playoffs.

Let the games begin......
