That would be sooooo nice. Luv to see the Foreskins get their azz kicked. Up next for them is: @Giants, Philly, @Bucs. They really could go 0 and 3. Thats very possible.. I'm praying!!!

Henson will never be a starter anywhere. He is big, has a great arm, did well on the intelligence tests, but something is missing- he just does not have it!

well, with "it" so clearly defined, how could anyone refute? >g<

Those are 3 tough teams they're facing. 0 and 3 is really close to reality.. I can see it happening. I live in MD. so that would be great for me. I'm gettin sick of all the Foreskin noise... Its sickening!!!

I can imagine........I also see a very good possibility of them losing those 3 games.....We can only hope it comes to be. ;)

Bledsoe to my surprise, minus last week, has played great. I have my doubts we'll do anything differently next year at the qb position than we've done this year. Right now seems the hope is that Romo or Henson will develop and pan out. But as my signature has said, I've been all for bringing in a young franchise qb for a long time...

By the way, I still do have hopes for Henson.

I have stated many times that I am also in favor of developing a young QB. With our other needs , OL etc., it would be very beneficial if that young QB is already on the team.........

Any idea if Quinn from ND is coming out this yr and what he's projected in the Draft? I am pretty impressed with this kid. So are alot of NFL teams. Wonder if he lasts till bottom of first round?

I really suspect the main problem outside of the layoff was the foolish decision to try and change his delivery. This was a mistake and likely responsible for his regression this year.

I'll give BP credit for his judgment on RBs, LBs and DLs. I remain very suspicious about this ability to judge QBs and think he has lost his marbles when it comes to OL for some reason.

I agree with your comment about changing Henson's delivery. The guy wasted an entire season because the coaches tried to make him something he wasn't. Now, watch Bledsoe, and lots of other quarterbacks when they throw. They all throw sidearm, or at least less than a perfect over the top toss. Parcells really didn't develop any quarterback. His love-hate relationship with Simms was a joke.

Yea, we've both been on that wagon for a while. I just don't see Parcells while he is here making this type of move....to our dismay. Hopefully I'm wrong though, but if he played Testeverde till the end last year...he wants anything but a youngster, no matter his pedigree...and seems content to develop Romo (especially) and/or Henson.

The Giants are set with Manning for many years and the team is pretty good and improving. We are getting better, but Bledsoe is NOT even close to what Manning will be. I like Bledsoe now, but we must start developing a QB or get someone like Schaub next year.

A real kicker would not hurt, as most NFL gamese are close today.

I like the way the rest of the team is developing.......

true, but building a talented team with depth around the QB doesn't hurt either, I think that's BIll's plan, get a team in place, and then whoever is starting at QB, has alot of help ala Big Ben in Pittsburgh

*shakes head* so Parcells is against playing youngsters at QB, but not anywhere else? which people said he was against too, and were proven wrong

If you think Manning will not be a top 5, most likely top 3 QB in a few years, you do NOT know football. He has more talent than anyone and as much pocket presense than Brady, he will be a star. By the way, I do not root for the Giants.

I think Bill has seen enough of Henson to gauge his success, how many games has he played? Henson will NEVER be a starter unless one or more players are hurt. I am sorry, but the guy cannot even make the transition from center to OB look decent!

Did not say that. He must develop his talent, but he is doing it at an excellerated rate. No, he is not better than Brady.......now. Brady is one of the best QB's I have ever seen.

If bill Parcells were interested in puttin a Young - Developing QB. He would of never brought in Testaverde. He would of gone off with Henson and ROmo. and put them into play. But instead he brought in Vinny. Vinny left, and they went and got Bledsoe.

I see, us staying with Bledsoe, and maybe bring in Schaub. and lettin go on Romo or Henson. Dats wut i see.

I asked the same question about Peerless Price. Do you think we would be better off now if we had integrated Price into a few more plays and given him some real game experience before the Crayton injury?

The difference here is, Henson couldn't even hold second string this preseason, and who knows if he will ever be effective with a new throwing motion being forced on him by the coaching staff. He looked a little awkward at times during preseason. Anyway, the coaches see these guys every day at practice, and we don't. All you can do is hope Parcells does what's best.

I don't dislike Henson, I would love to see him turn into a great QB. Romo as well. Let's face it though, Henson probably won't even get another shot until the next preseason. Romo will start off with the advantage there, rough road ahead for Drew II.

Read at Cowboys.com that they had him revert to his old throwing motion. that alone tells me that the throwing motion was the reason he struggled this preseason

Henson reverting back in throwing motion? Set to #3 after Romo beat him out - after throwing 5000 passes attemting to improve mechanics?

That if true is the ending to the Henson era.

If this is true it only proves the point many of us were trying to make the whole while - you should not fix that which is not broken. Henson's delivery was fine - good velocity, good accuracy. Every QB gets a few passes blocked and every QB tries to throw in the lanes when they want to zip the ball.

This was a monumental mistake from the get-go. I'd also lay 10-to-1 odds it was Parcells behind this. If it wasn't his idea, then guy whose idea it was should immediately be fired.
