This from a man who believes that A&M will win the Big 12? If you are genuinely so short sighted as to not see that baylor defensively dominated A&M and the ever heisman worthy Reggie McNeal at Kyle Field but failed to be effective offensively in the red zone then you are a delussional person as well as a conveniently forgetful one. You must have blocked out the previous year as well. At present time Baylor is a superior football team with a superior coaching staff to A&M just deal with it, you'll certainly have to come next Saturday. I hope you are far more realistic with the Cowboys.

First of all, chill out with the run on sentences, it is giving me a headache

Second, Texas A&M is 7-1 and ranked 22nd in the nation

Baylor is 4-4 and ranked 63rd in the nation

A&M has the 9th best rushing offense in college football

Baylor has the 92nd best rush defense in college football

See a problem here? To claim Baylor is a better football team than A&M is asinine at best. Those facts, coupled with the fact that A&M fans are going to pack Kyle Field North next Saturday, give me no reason to believe that Baylor will win the game. A&M's strength is physical dominance at the point of attack with our O-Line and Big Jorvorskie Lane, and Baylor has a small defense that is very poor at stopping the run.

It all amounts to a rivalry game which Baylor will win. You were 16 when Baylor upset you, you've played close games the whole year, nothing dominant about A&M, prepare to be knocked out of the rankings.

This game is only a rivalry to BU. My uncle who went to BU summed it up best:

"Baylor hates A&M, and just hopes that A&M will hate them back so they can be 'rivals', but the truth, painful as it is, is that A&M doesnt really care about us"

You have to beat a team more than once every 2 decades to be a rival. Hell, since 1970, A&M is 28-6-2 against BU. DOMINANCE.

That's fine but with yet another L in the loss column your tune will be very different. You are obviously not a very reasonable fan, a loss is a loss and as Baylor continues to prove that Fran is easier to out coach then a Pop Warner team you will begin to realize respect for an improving team that has your number just like everyone else in the conference is in order. Tech owns you, UT owns you, OU owns you and now Baylor does as well. So you are correct they aren't rivalries when the other team always wins. The number 6 passing attack in the country will shred A&M's pathetic secondary. 4-4 Baylor may be but they've played ranked teams and not cushioned their schedule like A&M, the only team on your schedule that held a rank was Tech and they handed the Aggies their customary defeat. People enjoy beating A&M because it puts a smug and obnoxious fan base in their place, true baylor has been a dismal team for a decade but it is on the rebound and part of rebuilding comes with sticking it to instate rivals, disrepect and dismiss them if you please but the fact remains they will beat you.

Fran, whom I certainly do NOT care for, has managed to beat a top 20 team in Missouri this year (Yes, they were ranked, higher than tech as a matter of fact), as well as winning all 3 of our road games. In todays age of parity, any win on the road is a good win.

Oklahoma State is a better team than Baylor, and we beat them, on their homecoming, in detrimental weather.

Missouri is obviously better than Baylor, we beat them.

Louisiana Tech is better than Baylor, we crushed them

Hell, ARMY beat Baylor IN WACO. Holy crap

BTW, sicne 1970, you know, when A&M went away from a pure military aspect and started investing in athletics, we are 18-18 against Texas, 10-12 against OU, and 19-17 against Tech. THOSE are what rivalry numbers look like.

A&M's "pathetic" secondary" is ranked 42nd in the nation. Baylor's is ranked 60thth. Whoops. :lmao:

Again, A&M is 7-1 and righ tnow the 3rd best team in the conference

Baylor is 4-4 and in the bottom 3rd of the conference

I admit baylor played poorly in some contest but do not behave as if you trounced Army, they gave you all your mighty team could handle in Kyle Field, we destroyed Oklahoma St. last year, they worry me not, this is why they play the games. You will lose, you will sulk, I will not have to say anything. If you are foolish enough to think Baylor can't light up the score board on A&M go ahead, we shall see. Are you really so blind as to think Baylor won't give A&M a run for their money? Do you honestly think UT will finish behind A&M in the Big 12? You are just silly my friend. Predictions: Baylor 35 A&M 27 now go Cowboys! After next week we can be allies again but for now not a chance. Sic 'Em!

Baylor fans better make sure to bring signs reading "We're the home team... No, seriously" to make sure everyone is clear on who's field it is.

We played Army in the Alamodome, not in Kyle Field

Let me put it this way: Baylor stole their gimmick offense from Texas Tech, they just don't run it as well. We gave up 31 points to Tceh, 10 of which were because of turnovers inside our own 20. They only drove more than 20 yards for scores 3 times the whole game. I have little doubt A&M can hold Baylor to under 24 points, which is all we'll need to do, because we'll be running up and down the field to the tune of 35+.

Your record was identical to Baylor's, I'm just telling you not to get your hopes up, you've been taken in to overtime two years in a row, Baylor is now decent, A&M is very beatable, watch it happen all over again. Oh and the secondary passing rankings were hurt by poor performances versus UT and a a second half against TCU, good teams, unlike much of the cupcake schedule A&M has thus far boasted. Besides Baylor plays your secondary and not our own, Baylor also leads the country in interceptions so bring on whatever passing game you do have. We're just going in circles now i don't know how many different ways i can explain to you that Baylor is simply going to win Saturday, period, nothing else you try and contribute matters, Baylor will win. Now a tip of the hat to you sir, to a good game...which Baylor will win.
Did i mention that Baylor will win?

The fact that you said LA Tech is better than Baylor basically discounts everything you say. And since you're so big on records, how is Okla. State better than Baylor? They are 1-2 in conference... and lest you say Colorado doesn't count, they CRUSHED Tech, who happened to beat you at home. And I don't want to hear JACK about Army - you have no wiggle room there, seeing as they were maybe two yards and a decent playcall away from beating you too.

I think it'll be a close game. It's being labeled winnable in Waco as it is in CS, I'm sure. The run D has been sterling outside of the Kansas game. But you can't rely on history as a crux anymore, Aggy. This is a new Baylor team.

BTW, who the hell cares what our overall records are at this point? Big 12 records are all that matters, and at this point there is only one team in the entire conference (Texas) with a better conference record than Baylor.

I don't know where you get your rankings, but based on, you know, games teams have actually won, Baylor is 5th in the combined Big 12. Hmm...
