The missing link.

Bigfoot, Sasquatch or one of the dozens of ancient indian names it's known by. Do you think it's a real creature? I am almost certain it exists. I have had "personal experiances" that lead me to beleive that some large unknown species of great ape walks the earth with us.

Sure we see him in the commercials all the time the best one is where they put the shaving cream in his hands

Sure do. He plays for the Viqeens and his name is Jared Allen.

By now some hunter would have tagged and bagged one. I find it hard to believe that we do not have hard concrete evidence to its existence

This!

15 years ago I believed in the possibility. But 15 years we would have found some real proof, a hunter would have tagged one, or we would have found bones.

I heard about it and believed it when I was a little kid now some 40 odd years later I want to see some real prove.

One would assume they poop in the woods. ;) A large pile found, especially in the Pacific North West might be bear, elk, Sasquatch or any large mammal.

Who is going to take a sample, bag it with out contaminating it and send it to a lab and pay to have the DNA Tested. A Logger? Park ranger? There have been searches made, some well funded. To my knowledge the evidence thus far has been save one film has been at best inconclusive.

Who's going to bag it? Anyone with enough sense to realize the potential discovery of such a overblown mythical non-existent creature will make them a household name overnight and pretty damn wealthy on the talk show circuit overnight.

It's not one single animal you're looking for. It's an entire breeding population. That's what folks seem to miss in all of this. There isn't just one animal to be found, it's dozens if not hundreds to be found.

Yet not one scat track, no remains, no bones, no hair, no sightings by the tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts, and not a single sighting by the thousands of hunters who spread out in the wilderness each winter.

Sorry, you're chasing the second cousin to Harvey the Rabbit.

And yet there are no scat finds? A viable breeding population of at least a few hundred would leave behind their fecal remains. You find the feces, you find the animal. Feces = hair remnants = DNA testing.

Sasquatches have no sphincters... that's how their feet got so big...

It's a proven, scientific fact... you could look it up...

You would think there would be Males, Females and off springs you would also think some would die of natural causes and a carcass would be found.

As I've previously outlined, Sasquatches have no sphincters... so 99.9999 per cent of the time, when they did, it's because they've exploded... the older they get, the bigger the explosion...

It's not a pretty sight...

Just like ghosts, these creatures need to come out of the woodwork and start contributing.

Yes one would think so. Then, do you understand what happens to a body in the wilderness? It's eaten by scavengers. The remains are chewed and the bones scattered, this in the deep woods. I doubt a Sasquatch will have the good grace to drop dead in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn Express. ;)

This is true, you won't catch a Sasquatch dead at a Holiday Inn Express... the beds are too soft for them...

They tend to frequent hotels that feature the beds with the massage feature...

As you may have surmised by now, I am perhaps the world's foremost expert on Sasquatches...

Hey Cliff, if you want to, PM me what happened... A couple buddies and I had a "personal experience" a few years ago, too.

I will say one thing -- until you've been to some of the truly remote places in this country, you literally can't imagine how wild it is and how few people are around. I know I couldn't until I experienced it myself.

Hey, don't hold these discussions in private.

I'd be interested to read this.

No need. In 1975 when I was 15. My family lived in the small East Texas town of Campbell East of Grenville. My friends and I would ride our bikes miles out in the country then park them and go exploring.

Myself and a couple of friends were well out in the woods, miles from town. We were following a small creek it was about six feet from bank to bank.
I saw on the other side, a foot print in the mud. It looked like a bare foot only much larger. I was a big kid and it was half again as long as my boot. Now I estimate it at 16 inches long. We told our friends and our parents. Who thought we were crazy. But the next time we tried to find it, it was gone.

In around 1995 I was visiting my sister in Willisville Ar. Me and my brother in law were visiting a friend f his who lived in a very rural area. Now picture this. We were sitting outside a trailer he used as a deer camp. Directly in front of us the field slops downward to a tree line about 3/4 of a mile away.

It's just past dark when we hear some thing scream from the tree line. It was the most God awful sound I have heard. Then it's the sound of wood breaking and like it's being hit. We got in our trucks and left.

The next day we went back (armed). You could see where some thing had snapped a 3 inch branch off a tree about 8 feet off the ground. We found the branch about 100 feet out on the field between the tree and the trailer, as if it had been thrown.

So yes I do believe there's something out there.
