Biggest 2023 cap hits via Spotrac

Who gives crap other than Dak critics. It's the NFL where on any given Sunday you win or lose. In the NFL 12-5, is 12-5 or Parcell puts it, you are what the record says you are. So this is just some BS you guys made up..........lol

The point you are missing is that the 12-5 was a sham built on inferior competition - that was true of the coaching, team, and Dak. It was proven when they were exposed in their first playoff game against a quality opponent.

Matt Ryan and Tannehill have numbers that don't work based on 2022 performances. Yikes!

I can promise you that cap number for 2023 will be restructured
Dak signed a 4-year contract, when Dak's contract is restructured, the reduced amount is added to a 5th year, that is, you are going to pay Dak a 5th year without being under contract or in the team, which is the same as having dead money, restructuring is not so easy, Dak's contract is a mockery of the owners, they were deceived but good and beautiful.

Dak is solid but he not worth that money. You can get the same production for far less on the cap.

No it is actaully the going rate, look at all the QB that are paid well more than he is. People want cheap contract for QB, not going to happen. Dak contract is not out of line. He is currently the 8th highest paid as soon will be well below that as new FA QB hit the market.

I don't know why, but the first time I read this thread's title, I thought it ended in "Spiranac"?

This might be the first and last post you ever posted that I like!

It is amazing how year to year, people continue to fail to understand basic aspects of the salary cap
Yes. Unless he takes a pay cut he is going to get his money. It is just the question of, is he going to get payed earlier or later. Eventually the team will feel the hit.

Remember there's also an $89M dead cap hit. Even knowing this some of his critics are still saying trade or cut him after the season and take the hit:huh:

not the qb

how about Laremy Tunsil by far the biggest Whiskey Tango Foxtrot @35mil for a tackle!!

can we get off the dak hate and troll post already, yes hes under contract. many qbs underwhelming right now i mean Matt Ryan just got benched LOL Rogers, Murray, Wilson,Carr, Brady and Watson with fresh deals, how they doing??

He's not taking a pay cut. Simple conversion of salary to bonus with option years added.

Hilarious that his cap hit is higher than Mahomes and Allen. Best thing to do is draft a QB in the incoming draft and let the rookie cook and develop, similar to Mahomes while Alex Smith was still the starter, while Prescott continues to stink it up until his contract expires. Hopefully we can keep a SB window open for that long….
Not sure who that rookie would be. Also I don't want any rookie or any Dallas QB cooking. The terms cook or cooking = Russell Wilson, which = Poor QB play

And then what? That guy is up for a renewal a year after he's starting? And how much do you pay him w/little to no info?
