They're so desparate for a rival, they've dubbed the Saints their "I-10 Rivalry". Seriously. And I'm sure the Saints are like 'Who are you, again?" LOL. It's a big week here in Houston, to be sure.

Yea I know I'm always put a ton of stock in preseason games .

Been to a Texans board a few days ago and they had a 30 page thread dogging Vince Young. .

The Cowboys and their fans don't really worry about the Texans Freak. Too many years of NFC East rivalry to talk about and digest.

Houston Texans = NFL Aggie.

They hang on a team that could care less about them as a rival and retain the scores of thier victories over that "rival" like they are the spoken word of the lord himself. they print up shirts and use the phrase "19-10" like it is the spoken word.

All I have heard from Texan fans all week is that Dallas can't win a playoff game. Give me a break. How about they actually POST A WINNING SEASON before they start playoff smack.

I'd explain to you how pre-season success doesn't correlate to regular season success and pre-season struggles don't correlate to regaulr season struggles, but alas, it's about football and would be over your head.

Funnily enuff, I liked the Texans last year. Thought they had a lil upside this year. You watch 'em enuff and you can see why some fans are optimistic. However, some Texans fans make me wish ill upon their team.

I don't know. I don't think I honestly care if we win this game or not. The starting offense has played well their first two games, even when vanilla. the rookies have looked good and look better each game. Jones is showing that he needs to adjust but is shaking rust off. Starting defense is playing well, even when vanilla.

The things I will be looking for are a continued improvement on Special Teams, a focus on discipline (penalties), and further growth from the rookies. We don't have W's but I love that we the W's were secondary to scouting the team and players.

Back when we were 5-11 every single year, we needed to win all our Preseasons just to build a faux confidence. We don't have to do that. We know what we can do. New England started 0-2 last year. Who is saying that worked into their regular season effectiveness? IMHO, Dallas is getting exactly what they want out of these preseason games, to find out where they need help. Not to blind themselves to what issue's they have. If we continue to improve on our mistakes this game, I will see us as 2-0 for getting what we needed out of the games.
