Don't count your eggs before their hatched....they need to beat the Giants before talking about divsion titles.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket......a loss this Sunday won't be the end of the world but it won't make things any easier.

It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.

if we can control the line of scrimmage and get the running game going to set up the passing game and if the line can give Tony enough time to throw and if we can stop the run on defense and put pressure on their QB and cover their receivers, all the while avoiding penalties and turnovers and the coaches making the necessary adjustments, we have a good chance of winning.

Excellent. Here's one which will probably be said sometime during the upcoming Giants, Commanders and Eagles games:

There's no love lost between these two teams.

This game IS the biggest game of the year. New Orleans and San Diego (to a lesser extent) are going to be big games but not as big as this one for a variety of reasons. The only game left on the schedual that could be as big as this one is the Philli game, and who knows at that point it could not matter one way or another.

But for all you arguing w/ the OP, he is right, this is the biggest game of the year (so far and is likely to remain that way till the playoffs).
As far as the technical mathematic impact it will have on the Cowboys, it's definitely the biggest game of the year.

But don't think we can lose to SD and NO and have the right state of mind heading into the home stretch.

In my opinion this week's game at New York is CRITICAL to the Cowboys getting to where we all want them to be.

If we win at New York we face the Chargers and Saints with a 9-3 record and the worst we could emerge from those two games is a very nice 9-5.

If we lose this week, we fall to 8-4 and the potential is there to finish the three game stretch at 8-6 and going to Washington on a 3 game slide.

I'm not conceding losses to either the Chargers or the Saints, I believe we can beat both, but I just don't think this team needs to put itself in that pressure cooker.

Lets go to New York and win, giving ourselves some breathing room.

To me, its an important game, this way the cowboys could knock the giants possibly out of the playoffs and not have to worry about them in the playoffs.

However, its not the critical game yet, that could be the last game of the season, the cowboys phily game for NFC east rights and home game in the playoffs.

That to me will be the critical game, if not that game, could be the Commander game for dallas to win the NFC East Division.

:laugh2:

"These guys better bring their 'A' games". I've been guilty of repeating that one many times.
