Newbie** I understand all the let downs & for me it would have to be Matt Johnson as well but to put a positive spin on things I am really liking what I am seeing from Devonte Holloman.

What? I love the Rowdy avatars. Nothing like reading a stream of Jerry-OL-Romo-Garrett bashing from a guy wearing a Rowdy mask. Cracks me up every time.

If I had my way, they'd all be Larry Lacewell masks.

Awesome. The two things ever associated with the Cowboys that I most despise, Rowdy and Lacewell.

Injuries, especially to some young guys who had a chance to challenge for starting spots or significant playing time.
1) Crawford. A loss for this year, plus it would've been nice to see what they have in him leading up to next offseason with Spencer gone.
2) Johnson. Oy
3) Parnell. He basically missed Oxnard and the battle with Free never materialized.

Brandon Moore.

Brandon Moore was my dream off-season signing, he was the perfect fit for this team. When the news broke that he was signed I was ecstatic. I still can't believe what happened the next morning, it still blows my mind. So incredibly unfortunate.

People talk about how parity in football makes it a game of inches. The difference between having Brandon Moore vs. having Bernie in your starting lineup could legitimately be the difference between being a wild-card-playoff-loss team and being a deep-playoff-run team.

He's old though.

He's old though.

So is a lot of our best players, if we're going to win anything with this current group it has to be within the next few seasons so age shouldn't be that big of a factor when looking at FAs if they can play and can make us better we should bring them inn regardless of age

Welcome. I agree. Johnson is giving me heartburn. Holloman seems to be around the ball. Not quite sold on him but I'm trying to like him.

I don't want to sound too negative here, because most know that I'm pretty positive about this team, especially this year, but there are some definitely disappointments.

I would say overall it is the inability of certain players to stay on the field, and it always seems to be the same cast of characters. Ratliff and Spencer especially.

But overall my biggest disappointment has to be Danny Coale. Even though I pegged him as the 6th receiver, I had high hopes for him. Really thought this guy would come in and make this camp his own. And yet he hasn't even been able to stay on the field. Haven't been impressed with him at all.

That they did nothing to upgrade the talent (or lack there of) of the Guards.
