Whatcha got ladies and gents?

here is one of mine

1. Roy Jones Jr. loses in the gold medal match in the Seoul Olympics, even though he pummeled the South Korean boxer. The South Korean only connected on a handful of punches the entire fight.

2. South Korean World Cup.....the U.S. was hosed twice during the tournament. There were several questionable calls and no calls in the losses to South Korea and Germany.

3. The Cowboys lose to the Steelers in the SB. The most penalized team in the league, Pittsburgh, is called for zero penalties during the entire contest. That is absolutely significant in such a close and highly contested game.

4. This one hurts the most, especially since it was our own time keeper who did it. The 0.4 shot by Derek Fisher to beat the Spurs. It is physically impossible to catch, jump, turn and shoot the ball in that amount of time. However, thanks to a slow clock starter, he did it and made the shot.

5. The fast whistle in game 6 of the Pens/Preds SCF. If the ref doesn't blow the whistle, Nashville is up 1-0 and probably wins the game, sending it to a game 7, where anything can happen. But, the shot didn't count and the Pens won the game 2-0, and the Cup..............YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.

I'll admit it's impossible to catch, turn and shoot in .4 seconds, but it's also impossible to start the clock any more accurately than what the score keeper did there.

Game 6 I mean, sorry

Well, that was a bang-bang play with no instant replay. If you want to blame someone, blame Clark for missing an easy foul pop-up :D

This is hardly one of the biggest robberies of all-time, more like an epic choke job, the Cardinals just unraveled from there

The 72 Olympics Basketball game pretty much ties with what happened to Roy Jones. I was watching that fight and could not believe it. But that was the way so much of international sports was during the cold war and in cases like that. And then you throw in the absolute corruption there is in so many of the sports and there you are. What happened to Jones was an example of home town judging just taken to an extreme.

the 72 basketball game was indeed a complete robbery at all levels. From the game itself to everything that happened afterwards.

I agree. I just rewatched it, and it is still very close when Fish 1st catches the ball and the clock just starts. The operator of the clock is in a fine line when exactly does Fish catch the ball. Unless you have a built in sensor on the ball itself for when a player catches it inbounds.

I can't remember the year, but the Lakers vs. Trailblazers when the Lakers made the epic comeback. The refs could not have been more obvious in giving the Lakers that victory. Stopped watching the NBA for 10 years after that and I generally don't hate the Lakers nor am I Trailblazers fan.

Albert Haynesworth robbing the Commanders.

Dallas Mavericks trading Robert Traylor for Dirk Nowitzki and Pat Garrity.

Dallas Cowboys trading Herschel Walker for the Minnesota Viking's foreseeable future.

"5th down game" between Missouri and Colorado.
