You don't pull players out to start the 2nd half. You let your starters stay in their routine of going to the locker room for halftime and then amping back up for the 2nd half. You then pull them after a series or two in the 3rd quarter. That is pretty standard stuff. If he kept Brady in the game in the 4th quarter then that would be bush league.

I had no problem with him bringing them out to start the second half. The fact that he actually pulled them, at all, was a breath of fresh air when it comes to him, IMO.

I could almost see it if a coach has a beef with another coach for whatever reason... But Belichick does it just to be a bully.

Thing is, what goes around comes around. In the end, the bully gets his.

Somebody reminded me of an Oilers game (ironic that the Titans were in Oilers gear yest) where Sam Wyche was pissed at Jerry Glanville and they scored something like 61 points on a hapless Oilers team just because of the beef between the two coaches. He was having the Bengals kick onside kicks when the score was in the 50's.


I remember Buddy Ryan having Randall Cunningham pretend to take a knee and throwing a long pass downfield against the Cowboys strike team. Still went down as a Cowboys loss. Still showed some people have NO class. I'd put BB in that category. He'll get his.

I don't have a problem with this. You never know what might happen in the second half. Buffalo once came back from 35-3 at the half to beat Houston in a playoff game. And, had the Patriots really wanted to run the score up they could have broken the record 73-0 by the Bears. They could have scored 80 or 90 if they really wanted to.

This is my only beef with it. I dont have nearly the problem with this I did when they were up by 3-4 TDs in the 4th QTR and A) Throwing 40+ yard bombs or B) Going for it on 4th down in 07.

Fisher is on the Competition Committee. I wonder if this was Bellicek's way of saying thanks for Spygate. Don't know if Fisher was involved in doling out the Pats punisment.

The Pats were continuing to throw the ball even up by 50 pts. That is pretty disrespectful.

Buddy Ryan's a piece of crap. Belicheat is classless, but he's not as bad.

I got no problem with leaving starters in to start the 2nd half, what I do have a problem with is going for it on 4th down when the score is 52-0 and there was no chance in hell of a miracle comeback (ala 35-3 Bills playoff comeback).

Going for it on 4th down with a 52 point lead is total Bush League.
