And his career winning % without Tom Brady is .460, and that includes 11 years worth of data so not a small sample size.

I just don’t understand the excitement surrounding him. In terms of consistent success directly attributable to a coach we really have no evidence he’s even on the level of Bill Parcells, who rebuild FOUR separate franchises and only once had anything resembling an elite quarterback.

If Bill comes in, I can’t imagine how bad the offense would be. I don’t want Bill O’Brien any where near Dallas. Go get Harbaugh and be done with it. If MM is let go, Jerry won’t hire a coach that anyone wants…bet on that.

Yes the age can be a concern, BUT regardless of record, one thing you know with a BB team is they will be prepared, part of the reason his winning % minus brady is because they have had garbage talent. BB also is a disciplinarian and won’t tolerate lack of discipline which is something this team badly needs. As long as MM is gone and DQ is as well, i’ll be happy. Think Vrabel is the best option

Also of note. Due to his age and his overt chasing of Shula's record, Belichick is not going to want to do any rebuilding. He wants a ready made situation that he just has to coach up and tweak. So those wanting the team to move on from Prescott and try to develop Lance or another QB may be disappointed.

At this point every option has to be considered and Belichick, being someone with not a ton of time in this job left to him just due to straight father time, doesn't have the tread left on his tires to oversee a rebuild. And honestly, would you want him to? Look how his post Brady rebuild of the Patriots went.

How is it an argument Bellicheck hasn’t won with Brady? His teams the past two years have had 0 talent.

He also won 10 games with Matt castle at qb. And made the playoffs.

He also is the one that made Brady at the beginning. Gave him a chance.

Bellicheck is a mastermind at detail.. and having his teams prepared! Something this team lacks.

Maybe he wants to take a lesser coaching role at this stage of his life.....like say just be DC, which is his specialty.....

When Belichick is the man with total control over personnel decisions, whose fault is it that the team has zero talent?

It's also a very fair question to ask if 2024 Bill Belichick is the same coach as 2008 Bill Belichick and coached up Cassel.

I will take a few years of Bill than the circus were in now. He will get an upgraded roster from new England and make the right choices to take us elite

Why not hire a young coordinator??? It’s working for everyone else. As long as it’s not that scum back Josh McDaniels. There is plenty of talent out there.

Because this team is not operated like everyone else. Any young coordinator is going to be a puppet to Jerry. Jerry and his dipstick son are the real reason for this team's failures.

He would bring some of the things this team needs desperately.

A disciplined team
Few penalties
Clock management
Masterful understanding of the rule book
Incredible defensive game planning
Great in game adjustments
Six Super Bowl rings as HC, 9 appearances
Two rings as a DC

Only thing McCarthy has over BB is offensive game planning but that’s what OCs are for.
