I am sorry for pointing out the obvious, but who saw him pump his fist and smack Romo's shoulder pads? Who saw him playfullly fix TO's hat? Who saw him hug and kiss any player that came near to him?

Despite what some people thought, this team means everything to Bill and I am happy to finally see him show it. The people talking about Bill being emotionless and stoic can take a seat, the people that said he diddnt care about this team and winning can go away. Bill cares, we all saw it and I want him to be around as long as possible.

Who is with me?

Who can question Parcells after a game like this? He has the love of his players, his guy played to near perfection and his vision is that much closer to being carried out.

Long live Bill Parcells.

Couldn't have said a single word better myself. I agree 2000% with this. The only coach to ever take 4 different teams to the playoffs...his brilliant coaching that turned us from 5-11 to a 6-10 team. And to top it all off, basically the only coach that can keep TO in check. The world, and especially our team, is much much better with Bill Parcells in the middle of it. A great person, and a great coach. I heart u Bill.

Maybe I am just high on the victory, but tonight I saw so many things that made me have a double take. First was Romo's QB play, and the most noticible second was how Parcells was acting on the sideline. I have never seen him that excited or proud before, and I really believe that means good things for this team.

Parcells acted very similar when we beat the Panthers the same year we last went to the playoffs.

This is a game to be excited over but we still can't get overly excited just yet.

And although Newman shut down Smith tonight remember how poorly he did against Smith come playoff time. Let's just hope that if we meet up with Carolina again in the playoffs that it'll be more of the same.

Bill Parcells LOVES winning.

I'm sure we he had alot of self doubt over the last week, and this just made sure him more confident in his past actions in Dallas.

Folks, this was a HUGE game. Parcells knew it. Coming back from 14 points down. The whole team making plays and not quitting after a VERY tough week. I think it's OK he let his emotions show.

And I think it was pretty clear that his players love him too.

Parcells is a perfectionist, he feels he can control every thing that players do.
I think some times he forgets the human factor in every thing.

I'm glad he's here and I hope he goes at least one more year.

I'm down with it.

It was just flat out thrilling watching the overall execution of the team. Down 14-zip, I felt no fear that we could not come back. The team was excited but not nerve-wracked, and Romo was exhibiting such maturity..watching him was fascinating...he had a veteran quarterback's resolve.

Two things really gladdened me re Parcells. One was the way he playfully pulled Owens cap at the end of the game, and what I found notable was how Owens reacted - like a bashful, grateful kid, aw shucks at the attention. He also didn't re-position the cap back the way he had it, which is the natural physical move for anyone whose head gear has been playfully pulled. I thought that little vignette was significant. Bill's 'handling' of Owens MAY end up one of the bolded sections in his long resume.

The other was the post game pc, which ESPN played. There must be something about beating Carolina on their turf that brings out the emotion in Bill. (think "no one can call them quitters anymore" in 03). Tuna didn't get all weepy and waily this time, but his voice betrayed his emotions with every word. He was so PROUD of the gutsy performance. One wonders if this Romo kid will make it worth hanging around another year for..what a kick it will be to see him become Bill's last great success.

Now on to the Skins....:)

I would have to say I wouldn't pick up on such subtle things. I think I have some of it in me, but guess I'm not feely enough yet.

Didn't see the cap thing, but I guess I don't have to with such a excellent explanation of what happened. Nice post.

With hope for future success, I don't see BP bailing out on the fruits from his work.

Guys, I live in Charlotte and I was there!!! And let me tell ya, to "ALWAYS" be able to walk down that ramp after a game in their, I mean "OUR HOUSE" feels real Good!

Taking into consideration, that that sole interception by Romo was not an interception, the kid looked GREAT!!!

Trust me... Watch the highlights and they show it several times. I saw the affectionate cheek slap...but didn't see the cap thing initially. Every highlight replays of the game shows BP giving love to anyone and everyone...including The Player.

LOL, good, good. I will have to watch the highlights again. I was doing a hundred things at once during the game, as you know woody, I'm usually commenting on everything during the game. Got 3 fantasy bball leagues starting and commishing is a chore for them.

Clue me in on the subtles, lol, I'm lost. :)

Funny thing was as happy as Bill looked on the sideline he down played it at the press conference afterwards. Last time Bill gushed over the Cowboys performance they ended up tanking the rest of the season. I think he will continue to try and keep this team from getting to high after a win or too low after a loss.

He definitely had a team of Vito Antuofermos last night... No sign of Cyclone Hart. ;)
