I am sorry for pointing out the obvious, but who saw him pump his fist and smack Romo's shoulder pads? Who saw him playfullly fix TO's hat? Who saw him hug and kiss any player that came near to him?

Despite what some people thought, this team means everything to Bill and I am happy to finally see him show it. The people talking about Bill being emotionless and stoic can take a seat, the people that said he diddnt care about this team and winning can go away. Bill cares, we all saw it and I want him to be around as long as possible.

Who is with me?

Who can question Parcells after a game like this? He has the love of his players, his guy played to near perfection and his vision is that much closer to being carried out.

Long live Bill Parcells.

I'm with you.

Parcells is a HOF coach without question. His tour of duty with the Cowboys has been a mix bag. IMO this season will determine how most Cowboy fans view his overall production coaching our Cowboys.

If we stay focused and beat the Commanders like I know we can...we can turn this whole season around.

any 4-year tour of duty coming from three straight 5-11 seasons, total roster decline for almst a decade and two flunky QBs on roster is going to be a "mixed bag". hand him #88 & #8 along with the keys to the franchise (ie. Jimmah) and we'd need new trophy cases for our Lombardis.

His reactions last week and this week say you are 100% correct. Last week he was just like an extremely disappointed father, this week he couldn't have been happier. I only hope it doesn't bite them in the ***. Remember a couple of years ago when they beat Caronlina and he made that teary-eyed speach about them not being "losers" any more and then the next week on Thanksgiving they got their behinds handed to them?

I don't think there is any question that Bill loves these guys. Even TO and Bill, as mentioned, don't seem to have any real problems. Bill seems mature enough to deal with all of the other stuff, and as he said in press conference, doesn't let himself get worked up by the peripheral issues.

But you want to know what's more telling to me? These players love Bill. It's like all the stories you've heard and read. These guys would do anything for him. Former players still love him and call him to see how he's doing. One former player even came to the sideline for support because "it was time".

There are some good coaches in this league. There are some coaches who are really good guys in this league. In my opinion, Bill is in a league of his own. He's always been a favorite of mine, and since he's been in Dallas he has become THE favorite.

He also gave TO a nice slap on the face.... TO was all smiles... both times... the hat turn and the slap

Trust me... Watch the highlights and they show it several times. I saw the affectionate cheek slap...but didn't see the cap thing initially. Every highlight replays of the game shows BP giving love to anyone and everyone...including The Player.

Yeah he played with Owens' hat on one occasion.

I think Bill realized again last night the team has a ton of character. They are so young on defence, they will screw up at times in a big way. Yet they have never really given up in a game. Even against the Giants, they fought until the end, just played badly.

Last night, he probably also saw them play offence the way most of us expected them to play all season. Every time they had the ball, you expected them to score.

This is Chris Mortenson: BP was getting sick of TO mouth so he let him have it. Then to make matter worse he twist TO hat to the side and told him "now don't you look silly." :laugh2: This could get ugly according to my inside sources.

Bill Parcells LOVES winning.

I'm sure we he had alot of self doubt over the last week, and this just made sure him more confident in his past actions in Dallas.

idk about you, but I saw alot of 'fire' on display last night from our 'boys

although Roy was unusually subdued last night

Funny thing was as happy as Bill looked on the sideline he down played it at the press conference afterwards. Last time Bill gushed over the Cowboys performance they ended up tanking the rest of the season. I think he will continue to try and keep this team from getting to high after a win or too low after a loss.

I think it was just BIll being Bill, on to the next opponent

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this. I think the negative criticism is getting to Roy, but he cotinues to always be in position to make big plays. I'm glad he's a Cowboy.

Exactly, after that win in 03 Bill even got choked up gushing over the team and then the following week we got blown out. Don't expect Bill to gush over these guys he will continue to look at improving their negatives even if the negative is small.
