Bill Parcells complaint thread

I never thought Parcells was all that great, but what are you going to do? Bledsoe, on the other hand, I have been a strong supporter. Now I say, get rid of them both. We obviously had no game plan for dealing with the blitz's Phillie threw at us. Parcells can't call a game worth a damn. Has Parcells used a first round pick on an offensive player? No! He had his veteran QB's in VT and DB!

Bledsoe has personally cost us two games already. I am not a big Romo fan, but I say give him a shot. He can't be any worse!

I agree we got outcoached. After half time Andy Reid adjusted and we didnt..I have never been a fan of Parcells and it's worse now....

I'm really starting to believe it really was due to Belichick

I think he WAS a great coach.

He brought Belichick on to his staff, so he deserves credit for that.

But he's done. Just like every great athlete. At some point, as the coach himself says "you have to show you can still get the job done".

He can't. He's stuck in the past.

He used to be a fav of mine. I loved the way he coached a game.

No more. I've been complaining about him for three years.

Who's the guy who brought Bledsoe here?

Oh, the same guy who brought Vinny here.

And put both of them behind swiss cheese offensive lines.

'Nuff said.

Well, if were gonna play that game, then blame should go all the way to Jerry since he hired Parcells to begin with. Parcells has built this team to be way better than it was before he took over. What ticks me off is the way Bledose has played in big games. He's not a closer, just a manager. I really wish we had another option besides Romo, cause no matter how hard we cry, the only way Bledsoe doesnt start is if he gets hurt.

Unbelievable. Absolutely obsurd. What will it take for Parcells to see that Bledsoe is incapable of running an offense under pressure?

What will it take for Parcells to see that Bledsoe is incapable of running an offense when he is NOT under pressure?

I simply cannot fathom what Bledsoe is thinking in the game. Why Bledsoe? Why do you suck so much? How is sucking that bad even possible?

When he wasn't throwing interceptions, or fumbling, or getting sacked, or holding the ball for 10 seconds and patting, he was throwing some horrible balls. How many passes went into the dirt right in front of the recievers?

I saw Owens complaining, and he had every right. easy touchdown for Owens? Nope. Interception.

Possible game tieing TD? Nope. Game ending Interception TD return.

Please start ROMO!

The worst defensive game plan in history. To have the best deep throwing QB in the league's receivers matched up by Safeties continually is beyond believable.

Works for me.

I had my doubts because from the start Parcells said "I'm too old to lose" which meant he really wasn't going to handle the job here like he did in previous head coaching stints.

That was a huge cause for concern.

Pretty much the worst play calling i've seen in years. I never usually say that but it's the truth.

Honestly, I don't understand all the complaining about Bledsoe.

We ALL knew EXACTLY what we were getting when he was signed.

It's not his fault that he is who he is.

Now, who made the value judgement to bring him in here?

That's where the fault lies.
You mean he wasn't magically going to get better just because his helmet has a star on it now?

This is very similar to what I've been posting since the middle of last season. I think he was an outstanding coach at one time, but he's lost his edge.

Many times in the past year or so, Parcells comes across as confused and stubborn. He looks like Landry in 1988 and Shula in the mid-1990s.

Everyone slips when they get older. If it can happen to Tom Landry and Don Shula, why can't it happen to Parcells?

Apparently, he had one good year left as a coach when Jerry hired him. He'll be gone after this season, IMO. He'll quit like he did three times before.

Looking at what lost this game, it is the three positions that Bill Parcells has done the worst job of handling since he came to Dallas.

1.) QB
2.) Offensive Line
3.) Free Safety

Where is the Strong Safety on this blame list?

What exactly did the strong safety do wrong

Long pass to LJ smith yes
what else?

Did you not see Roy looking like he had never played the game before on that flea flicker?

I saw Roy think the ball was coming in short yes, but he was not the one in coverage on the play, Watkins was.

In fairness he wasn't the primary cover guy.

The game was lost in the 3rd quarter when we were up 21-17 and had a nice couple drives going only to lose them on 3rd and inches. Reason being, we moved the ball consistently with 3 wides and running Juilus, but everytime we got within short we moved to a tight formation and lost yards. Bad decision for this oline. Thats conservative football. I knew what they were doing, everyone at home knew what they were doing and most importantly the Eagles knew. This has been my only gripe with Bill as a coach since hes been here; he loves running those tight formations and it puts no pressure on the d because everyone plays at the line. the Eagles were ready for the knockout and we let them back in. I know, Im not the coach but its my opinion.

Bill P needs to get some guts
You mean like the time he went for it on 4th down on our own 31 yard line?

I agree.

I start yelling at the screen when he pulls the macho routine and sends in 5 TE's in short yardage.

It ain't workin'

The thing that I liked most about Parcells was that in his first year here, we did a ton of running from 3WR sets. Heck Troy Hambrick actually put up decent numbers that season.

Why Parcells changed that, I'll never know.

id you want them to punt there? He didnt have a choice. I think Bill is a great coach but hes too consertative with the weapons he has on offense.

ACtually I thought he threw way more than he should have today.

Drew was getting killed and was obviously rattled. JJ was running hard. COuld have taken a lot of steam out of that pass rush by really dedicating to the run.
