I think that BP will have coached his last game for the Dallas Cowboys against St. Louis.

To me he looks like a man that is getting ready to go. Maybe he should just go. We need to move forward.

This whole "I didnt yell at team after Wash loss because they were feeling bad enough already from everyone else making them feel bad"

Come on... the old BP would have started yelling months, years ago... he is not the same and neither is the NFL.

We need to get back! Back in Black. Back to the top!

No way this is Parcells' last year.

I dont think he would leave a team in this situation, especially if we dont make the playoffs, he know for a fact, his tenure would be deemed a failure and his ego is too big for that.

Im not sure he has an Assistant Coach on the staff who he would trust to leave the team with, unless he is still "intrigued" by Mr. Zimmer or Mr. Payton.

If we dont make the playoffs, no way this guy walks out.

I dunno. He walked out on Patriots. He walked out on Jets.
He will actually be credited for many thing accomplished in Dallas.
I dont think his tenure would be deemed a failure. He has built a good foundation in many ways...

Yes, he looks very tired and worn out. I think it might be his last year. This win today gave him enough grace with fans for him to leave quietly.

He looked far, far worse last year.

This thread can be filed under "wishful thinking"....

I know

He had gotten the Patriots to the Super Bowl and could walkaway with his pride.

The Jets had just went to a AFC Championship team, even though they had a let down the next year but he could clearly walk away with his pride. Hell 2 of those players from the Jets were so outstanding that he has them on the 2005 Cowboys.

No, I don't think so. Last year, he still had a little bit of fuel in his tank to give it another go. I don't think he has any fuel left.

He spent all week talking about how much he liked this team. He spent most of the time after this game giving the players credit.

He didn't put a ton of rookies into the lineup last offseason to 1 and done it.

Again, this is all wishful thinking on your part.

Move FORWARD???? *** are you even talkin about. This team IS movin forward. We had a tuff season this year with alota good teams we played. Last years team woulda gone 4-12 at best this year. I think we are movin forward very good.

Obviously it worked. The team came and played hard today and beat a really good Panther team.

Whatever. If you do not see that BP is almost there to getting us back you are clueless.

YEAH AND WHAT ABOUT WHEN WE REALLY NEEDED THE TEAM TO PLAY AND WIN THE MUST WIN GAME. We are all goose eggs my friend.

Whatever. If you do not see that BP is almost there to getting us back you are clueless.
He has us going in right direction. But he will not close the deal in Dallas. Mark my words. I dont feel the need to right. I just feel I am. It may be best for us. Its business not personal.(and I dont mean that in my typically sarcastic way. I am serious)

Well if that is how you respond to what is obvious. Thats fine. Clueless? Am I really? hmmmmm.......... I guess we will soon see who is clueless....

He did say " I don't know where you guys come up with this stuff. You don't know what you're talking about. " in response to being asked if he was seriously considering retirement letting him know of Chris Mortenson's report.

No matter what happens after next week, I still want him back to orchestrate another great draft like last years. :)

I don't trust Jerry Jones on draft day anymore...do you?

How poetic would that be....

1st game - win a nailbiter filled with comedy of errors on both sides(I was there for that game - still thanking Cortez for making kick and then wanting to kill him for all the other misses)

2nd game - we just cant take care of business(but thats ok, its hard to beat the same team 3x in one season.

3rd game - in a nutshell - we win the only game against the Giants that ulimately matters.

I was hoping for that most of the year. Split season series and beat them in playoffs.

IMO the only times he has not looked tired and worn out were after the 2 Super Bowl wins. Even when he was working for espn NFL Countdown he always looked tired and worn out.

I think that is his natural look on his face. You know, kinda how Brian Dawkins always looks like he has to "drop a duece".

I believe Bill comes back for AT LEAST next season. Because next year the 'Boys make a Super Bowl run, as long as the injury bug stays away.

I would be very surprised and dissapointed if next week is his last game as Cowboys' headcoach.

I actually think BP doesn't know at this point. I do think the loss of his brother has affected him. You can just see it.

Time will tell but in the end, if he does leave, it may have more to do with his brothers death than anything going on with the actual team.

I'm guessing he stays one more year but nothing would surprise me here.

He has become a very passionate man and seems to have a renewed appreciation for life, livelihood, and relationships. I respect him greatly for that.

The day he leaves will be one of my saddest in the history of the Dallas Cowboys.
Personally, I hope he finds the drive and ability to extend his contract.
