Zeke used to jsut punish people, basically seek out contact and not do anything to lessen the blow of hits.

There’s an art to like going with a tackle ya know. Liek knowing how to fall. I think he just beat his body up and he has no burst no more

I'd like to convert zeke to FB but that would be dependent on having a philosophy that believes in running the ball and would actually use a FB. I don't see it happening and definitely not if Kellen remains.

Glad Bill and I see it the same.

All the yahoo's saying otherwise can argue with Bill.
And Jimmy also.

“His No. 1 strength is he is a great leader for that football team,” Johnson said this week on Fox Sports’ The Herd. “He can win you a championship if you got really good players around him. They’ve had some injuries with the running game. They’re not running the football as well they did before Dak got injured. When they’re running the football, those play-action passes, Dak is really good. … But when he’s got to drop back and start reading the whole field and make decisions about where he’s throwing the football, and the defense isn’t slowing down for the run … he’s not near as good. He can win you a championship, but you better get the running game back.”

Sounds like he was talking about Troy Aikman.

Don't believe me? Look at Troy's first 2 and last 4 seasons...

He could win us a championship if he stopped turning the ball over and be a bus driver. Let the defense lead. That's really all he had to do Sunday.
It's non-existent to be a bus driver when your Oline blocks like crap and can't get your running game going (Zeke & Pollard combined for a paltry 48 yards rushing). Plus, having 1 of your only 2 weapons taken out before the half due to injury forced Dak to try to win by passing the ball with only 1 true receiving weapon in Lamb. Extremely difficult, yet it almost got pulled off. Give Dak a better Oline, establish a running attack and at least another weapon at receiver, along with better playcalling and designed plays/schemes, you will see Dak and this Offense shine once again.

I'll take a we who can run a damned route properly. Geez Gallup kills me sometimes with the half effort. If CD is doubled he has to be that guy who gets us some and a threat

The Dak haters/detractors are now going to hate Coach Parcells. That probably makes up about 90% of this board.
:muttley:
Why? Doesn't mitigate any of Dak's shortcomings. I agree with BP but at the same time are still appalled by whatever Dak has shown in this game and his inconsistency over the years.

What inconsistencies, especially over the years? Name them.

What do you mean? Every bad play? Every bad game? Or just the Interceptions? Discussing this topic with you would make as much sense as trying to teach a cow scuba diving. The triumvirate of Dak infatuation will defend the man no matter what.

You said over the years, so name them. Name some key game "inconsistencies". Shouldn't be too hard since you insinuate there are many.

Not sure if this has been posted or not. BP sees it how I do.

The Super Bowl-winning coach said he likes what he sees from the team on defense but the offense -- particularly Kellen Moore's play-calling -- is hurting the team.

That's not to say that Dak didn't wet the bed but Kellen was asleep at the wheel simultaneously.
I agree with BP as usual. We threw it 556 times and ran it 531 last season. We need above 50% rushing and we need an OC with a better balance, scheme and feel for the game.
Dak should be treated like Cooper Rush and protected from himself. Beef up the interior OL and DL (D. Payne, J. Hargrave) this offseason. Cut Zeke and pair an insider runner with Pollard.
