Which team is better the Buffalo Bills from 90-93 or the Eagles from 00-04?

The Bills choking in 4 Super Bowls.

The Eagles choking in 3 conference chapionships and 1 Super Bowl.

I don't remember watching the Bills play, but if you're going by accomplishments alone, the Bills...

At least they made it to the big dance...

The Bills were stacked. Man for man, they were better than the eagles.

The Bills.
I think if that Bill's team was playing the last 5 years they win a Super Bowl.
They were stacked , on both sides of the ball.

The Bills. They made it to the Super Bowl four times in a row. The Cowboys didn't even do that...

and your point? If the eagles made it to the SB all four times they woudl have still lost, just like the bills, both of them pulled the ultimate choke job of the decade. They both suck

Bills, hands down. If you were to put the 90-93 Bills in the NFL of the last 4 years they very well might of won 3 superbowls, they just had the misfortune of plaing against some amazingly good teams in the NFC at the time

The cowboys should have if it wasn't for the "incidental contact" pass interference rule on Michael Irvin. I was a young'n but as I recall he was about to catch a long touchdown pass when it happened. It would have put the cowboys into the superbowl against san diego, and we would have won 4 in a row. Bye bye patriots dynasty, it would have eliminated all controversy about what team was the best.

I'll put it this way.

The '01, '03 and '04 New England teams would have lost to Buffalo in the AFC Championship games. They would have trashed the '02 Raiders in the AFC title game. And they would've beaten the '02 Bucs, '03 Panthers and '04 Eagles.

Don't know about the '01 Rams, though.

are you saying the Bills suck cause you have nothing else to add...or just following the crowd? they went to the SB 4 times in a row...show me another team that pulled that feat...than look at the teams they faced in those SB's You want to talk Suck...the GIants won on that FG. Than the last two times they played probably the Cowboys, TWICE, against a hell of a coach. I wouldnt really call that sucking. Its not like they got there than decided not to play.
Give them some kind of credit even if you dont fully comprehend all of what they did accomplish.

My point is that the Bills did something that no other NFL team has done in the modern era. They made it to four Superbowls in a row.

I can't believe that, although they lost, it isn't one of the greater accomplishments in the modern era of the NFL. In no way did that team suck.

Bad call or not, it is all history now and four in a row didn't happen.

I am as much of a Cowboys homer as there is, but none of this downplays how good that Bills team was.

Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith (in his prime), Cornelius Bennett, Andre Reed....
Buffalo was overall much better and down the line man for man better.
The only advantage I would give the igglets is:
Secondary and Kicker

You know what? I view this as yet another feeble attempt to put down the Eagles. Fortunately some of your other fan base have helped thicken my skin enough for me to shrug off quasi-flame attempts like this and look beyond.

Listen, you're asking the wrong question ...the question should be ...

"Eagles vs Bills; who performed worst?"

The answer is clear! The Bills! Why?

1) Because like one of you blurted out, the Bills made it to the "big dance" more times in a shorter span.

2) Because today's players are bigger, stronger, and faster than back when the Bills' hayday

3) Because unlike many of you, I admit that I'm biased; and the Eagles are my team -- always have been an Eagles fan, and proud of that fact! You find something wrong with that?

So, let me get this straight. This is all about who was the best...2nd, 3rd or 4th best team between 89-93 and 2001-2004 ? Sheesh, it is certainly the off-season when people can argue this.

So I guess I'm guilty too...Funny thing is tho, after the 4 year Super Bowl run by the Bills, which is being compared to the 4 year run of the Eagles....The window closed...The window closed...The window closed....

whoever brought up the pats winning three out of four superbowls and comparing them to the cowboys three out of four should stop right there. at least the cowboys were only 11 points away from 4 straight, as the patriots didn't even make the playoffs one of those years! they wont even make it this year!!!

I'm going to disagree with you on the intent of this. I think since the cap era that teams are actually a bit weaker than the past. I too think the Bills would win and it has nothing whatsoever to do with a hatred of the Eagles. Which BTW, I do. With a passion.

That Bills squad was actually one of the greatest teams ever assembled. That is too quickly forgotten because of the 4 losses. It is wrong to think they were losers because they weren't. Fate frowned on them to paint them in a negative light but that 4 straight Super Bowls was nothing short of remarkable.

I am a Cowboys fan all the way through my body. I dreaded facing them and knew there was a chance we could lose. Luckily for me and all Cowboys fans we had an even better team. No one knew that for sure at SB XXVII, because it was the start of our dynasty.

Make no mistake about it though, the Bills were a damn good football team.

The Bills team of the early 90s never gets enough credit. I don't know if it was because they lost four Super Bowls or people can't get "52-17" out of their heads. They were a damn good team!!

Just goes to show you the level that the NFC East was at back then.
The Bills lost to the Giants, Commanders, and twice to the Cowboys in those four Superbowls.
