Agreed. If anyone tells me they weren't nervous before that Super Bowl they are either a liar or an idiot. That team could have won the game. It was our day to reign.Waffle said:The Bills team of the early 90s never gets enough credit. I don't know if it was because they lost four Super Bowls or people can't get "52-17" out of their heads. They were a damn good team!!

their 90 and 91 teams were the best of their four AFC Championship teams...they lost to us and Commanders because we (and the Skins) were alot better than they were...the Giants were flat out lucky to win against the Bills though

OK the Bills would easily win those games. But so what? I mean, what is the point?Phoenix-Talon said:I can't argue with that -- it's opinionated! jman said:Usually I like your passion for your team, but since we are talking history, what would any other team do against all those Eagle team that were not the 2000 through 2004 teams?
Well, we don't have to guess, since it is fact...The Eagle lost way more than they have ever won...including your run of resent years...Your team has an all time lossing record and will not even see .500 in your life time.
And thank gosh, I didn't have to see all those horrid games...what a depressing thought it is to be an Eagle fan...LOL
jman said:If you remember, I believe we were behind early in the game...even had a punt blocked. And weren't we actually behind at half time too?
I don't know why, but the Bills just inploded for what ever reason.

I really think they were. One of the things that validates those Cowboys as a great team was the caliber of those 2 Bills teams as well as the caliber of the 49ers at that time. We beat the best the NFL had to offer and did it soundly.ReturnToGlory said:It's pretty obvious that the Bills of the '90s are superior to the recent Patriots.

I agree with you to an extent that we were a better team, but we did not know that going into SB XXVII. Coming out of it, and especially after XXVIII I would be supremely confident you are right. Going in, not near as sure.
I think that Bills team was better than the Patriots of the last 4 years. The salary cap era has weakened teams in my opinion.
