Cowboyszone.com should be renamed to Romohaters.com. 30-42 298 yrds 1TD and all we hear about is the negativity over perceived failures. The fumble is the only one you can for sure put on Romo. If you want to get upset at someone, get upset at Callahan/Garret for a terrible game plan and play calling. 16 frigging running plays? You can't win like that. But, I know, you haters have so much invested in your hate that you'll put up on a pedestal the one bad play Romo has and harp about it for days as the reason we lost.

A lot of people played bad, Romo included. I still don't think this team is going to win anything of importance with Romo or Garrett. Every year it's the same thing. Nothing ever changes.

I blame the whole team and coaches. If they play like they did the last 2 games the rest of the year they could very well be 1-15 , 2-14!! This is terrible football all around!

Romo did suck today, and so did many others....including the OC play calling. Call it a team effort if you are a Romoholic. But in the end, they all sucked. Same old cowboys, lousy red zone scoring. I knew all those FGs were going to be the death nail.

Garrett claps enthusiastically after made FGs while I sit on my couch upset about leaving points on the field. I'm sure he's just trying to rally the troops, but I wish he took a FGs ain't good enough approach. No offense against Bailey. I'm ecstatic that we have him.

Blaming Romo for every loss is the biggest cliché in Dallas since guns, hats and boots.

Sure, Romo wasn't absolutely perfect today. With that said his stats are very respectable. 298 yards, 1 TD, 70%+ completion percentage and no INTs. Sure he had a fumble, and didn't play mistake free-football. But we can say that Dez's offensive pass interference was one of the worst calls of Week 2. That was a clean reception and completion. Should've been a 20 yard gain putting Romo with 320 yards. Then what about the drop by Dez? Easily a 40+ gain. You do your high school math there…

You can play the what-if game all week long, but it doesn't matter, it's nobody's clear fault, it's a team game.

Truth is, Romo wasn't perfect, but Romo didn't lose the game. Sure in that red zone he had Dez one on one, but the play calling is unpredictable, but in favor of the defense. There's absolutely no spark, no separation on the receivers, Witten isn't going downfield, EVER, Hannah can't break a tackle and Escobar has been dismal thus far. That without even mentioning the running game and Murray.

Truth is you can't put the blame on one man's shoulders. It is a team effort, and we were good enough to win today, but we didn't, Chiefs ultimately played smarter football and came out on top with the win. Tough loss no doubt, and as our schedule gets more difficult, we could have had this one, hopefully it doesn't cost us the playoffs.

Let's now analyze the rest of the league's QB's up until right now:

Jay Cutler, 290 yards, 3 TD's, but 2 INT's and a lost fumble. Ouch. His team however, won the game and Cutler gets a free pass from his fan base on this one. Individually a worse game than Romo.

Robert Griffin III, 320 yards, 3 TD's and 1 INT. Mostly the big numbers coming in garbage time and in reality wasn't much of a gamer today. His numbers good enough offensively but the defense lost.

Matt Schaub, 298 yards, 3 TD's and 2 INT's. Again, his team baked him up, his line was dominant and thus the rushing attack was very balanced and powerful. Was Schaub the reason they won? No.

Andrew Luck: 321 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Decent numbers, very similar to Romo, yet nobody blames him, cals him old, or says he is washed up.

Drew Brees: 152 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. He must be getting old, washed up and showing his very advanced age. Might as well cut him.

My point is, Romo may have not been perfect today, or last game by any means, but blaming him in every single game the Cowboys lose is cliché, there's too much in the game of football going on in order to blame a QB for a loss. Only Rodgers, P.Manning and Brady are a truly superior and a more perfect QB's than Romo today. You can make a case for Ryan and Rivers this week, but with Romo we are good enough to win. Focus should be on the running game, and the little things that make a difference collectively in order to pull away with close victories.

So far first place in the division, going home to face St. Louis. We must win these games and we should be alright. Enjoy your Sunday ladies and gentlemen.

Hope u saw end of saints game. That's why Brees is elite, Romo not so much.

He was't good today, usually he takes unfair blame but today he deserves it his last 4 throw were horrendous. 2 almost got picked off, he also audibled to that ridiculous play to TWIll while Dez had man coverage in the redzone on third down. Also he has all this say in the offense and fredom and blah blah blah but we are turning into a dink and dunk team.... I'm not down on Romo overall but today he played a horrible game.

I don't understand why people just can't see what's right in front of them. Tony Romo is a shell of his former self and his decline in skills from just a couple of years ago is very noticeable. He used to stretch the field vertically and now his primary pass is the back-shoulder throw to Dez or some dink and dunk pass that nets a few yards or more if the receiver can juke someone. He can't really scramble any more and his passes have no zip on them. which concerns me even more. It's kind of surprising because I look at Brees who has a similar build and play style and he seems to have the same zip and accuracy.

Do I put the whole game on Romo? Absolutely not. We just seem to lack speed on offense. But he had time to throw and made some poor passes. Either way, we're married to Romo for the next 4 or 5 years and JG isn't going to bench Romo or his 100 million dollar contract for Orton or anyone else.

I'm not down on Romo. I think he does pretty good in this weak system.

I think you do have to give some credit to the KC defense. What I saw happening often was those LBs crowding the line, then dropping back. They often seemed to take away those lanes for slants/quick release passes. I think this took Austin out of the game almost entirely. Dallas really didn't adjust to this.

I think they took a calculated risk saying OK, beat us with Dez, we'll either cover the middle of the field so you can't dink and dunk or we'll attack so you have to rush your pass. And it was effectively executed by the Chiefs. The adjustments just did not seem to happen.

yeah, I think they will be more successful without each other. Garrett's playbook is designed for a quarterback like Aikman.

Isn't Romo the highest rated quarterback in the 4th quarter in NFL History? You win some, you lose some. But I'll take my chances with Romo any given Sunday.

As for Brees, he sure is a hell of a quarterback, I like him a lot.

I'm not going to give credit to every team that figures our offense out because its not a hard thing to do.

I want the old gunslinger Romo back.........we have the weapons in Dez, Austin, Witten. We have a speed TE in the likes of Hanna that stays within 5 yds of the LOS---when the likes of the Patriots use a weapon like that to attack --Gronk, Hernandez

I realize the games like Detroit a couple yrs back happened........that is when we need JG and Callahan to dink and dunk.......with a 21 point lead.

Its a risk / reward equation.....sure Eli has a ton more int's.......but the reward for attacking things has given him 2 rings on on hand.
