guys, it was Pass Interference. Leave it to SI to choose a bad picture.

It was during the 1st cowboys game.

I don't remember, but my guess it was this play in the 3rd quarter of the first game:

(3:47) (Shotgun) 9-T.Romo pass incomplete to 84-P.Crayton. PENALTY on WAS-37-R.Doughty, Defensive Pass Interference, 51 yards, enforced at DAL 27 - No Play.

Still a funny pic to choose when complimenting Doughty.

And isn't Crayton leading with his helmet as well? Double foul on the offense.

Offensive PI and hitting a helpless defender.......a rare double foul :lmao:

seemed like almost every pass thrown in the first half the skins were all over the reciever, or a second early.

I posted this question in the game thread but never got an answer, how was the interception in the first quarter when the DB ran into Glenn before the pass got there not PI?

Just bored at work and thought it was funny SI would use this photo while lauding Doughty's 'solid coverage skills'.

I still have bad memories of that play and how much I wanted to throttle that ref.

I forget where the ball would have been placed. Ten yard line, or so? We still would have needed to score a TD on that drive merely to tie the game, but it sure would have made things more interesting.

It was such a fantastic game. Oh what might have been.
