Yogurt company Dannon reportedly signed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to a sponsorship deal on the same day it announced Carolina Panthers signal-caller Cam Newton would not be featured following his sexist remarks directed at Charlotte Observer writer Jourdan Rodrigue, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

According to the report: "Dannon has already scheduled Prescott to shoot his first TV commercial this week in Dallas, per a source. It continues to be a commercial breakout time for Prescott, who now has deals with Pepsi, Frito-Lay and Beats."

Good for Dak. I hope he keeps the endorsement deals rolling in and the deals are for more money each time which would mean he is successful.

Being the antithesis of Cam is a good thing. Less “I’m better than you” makes the world a better place.

I don't really agree is the thing. And I hate these types of conversations.

Dak is following the RG3 story arc

Yes I am sure any player in the NFL would turn down an easy 3 million.

RGIII was making millions from his team when he accepted his endorsements. Regardless it doesn’t matter...RGIII made a ton of money and that’s good for him. Football is such a risky sport...one hit and you’re done. RGIII would’ve been a fine player if injuries didn’t derail his career.

I agree with Fletch. There are a lot of players I'd like Dak to try and emulate, Newton is not one of them. That's both on the field and in the way he carries himself. JMO.

That's fine, and not really my point. It's less whether he should emulate someone or not, and more being put in the position to be the 'antithesis'. It's just an awkward box imo, and begs people to weigh in.

"Some things I don't like just because of the sound of the name. To this day, I still cannot eat yogurt. It sounds like it's coming up again. Yo...yo...yogurt."

hope all the big money deals and all that it takes to do what it takes to make the commercials don't take away from his focus on the football field
