Bledsoe or Culpepper

If Culpepper was healthy, I'd take him any day over Bledsoe at this point in their careers.

However, I seriously doubt that Minny is interested in moving him...why would they be? He's their franchise QB....Brad Johnson was solid but unspectacular in his stint, but Johnson is also ancient history.

Culpepper is so much better...

Not so sure about that. I always wondered how Daunte would do without playmaker and security blanket Randy Moss.

If this season is any hint the answer is not good. In fact he was leading the league in INT's with 12 through only 7 games and had been sacked an amazing 31 times in those games behind a better OL than ours. The Vikings were 2-5 in those games with the only wins against sad sack NO and GB. The proof that Daunte was the problem is the major improvement the team made when Brad Johnson took over. And Bledsoe is better than BJ IMO.

Ok, so I was open minded enough. Now maybe the bashers will observe that 83.7, Drew's season rating, would put him in the top 20 of all time if it were his career average (which sadly is 77.3, due mainly to 1993-1995 when he failed to ever have more TDs than INTs).

IF the cowboys could add Culpepper as a Free Agent from being released AND IF Moss Gets his wish and is granted the opportunity to go some where else via a trade, then MAYBE we could trade for him....That way we could POSSIBLY both have Moss and Culpepper back at it again doing it big in big D... or maybe this is just a huge dream of mine...

Wow you guys are dumber than I thought. 58% of you would take bledsoe over culpepper? Im not dumping on bledsoe he had a decent season and all but this is culpepper were talking about. The guy who almost won MVP last year if it wasnt for mannings amazing season. He threw a 70% completion ratio that year and dont give me this moss bs "Its because he had moss on the team". Wake up call in case you guys didnt realize he was injured for some games that year...

Culpepper!

Thank you, finally a voice of reason. in 2004 Moss played in 13 games, and did not record a reception in two of those games. He had 49 receptions and 13 tds.

Culpepper completed 379 of 548 passes (69%) and 39 tds. Now someone tell me how he only plays well when he has Moss?

Considering that Culpepper's average season is comparable to Drew's career best effort, if he's healthy it's an easy choice to me.

Turnover prone Culpepper? He cant do it without Moss. The guy puts up huge numbers, but has never won.

Next question, can he even play anymore.

Turnover Prone?

Do you even know how many turnovers bledsoe has contributed to this season?

I take it you didnt know so here are the numbers. 17 Picks, 17 Fumbles, 8 Fumbles Lost, Setting a personal high in Fumbles and 25 total turnovers. thats not turnover prone?

That's the question. All three ligaments in the knee are a big deal, but players come back from these injuries nowadays.

IF HE'S RELEASED, I think you have to give him a look. He's younger than Bledsoe, and he's better IMO.

I just want to see the same QB for a few seasons in a row. I think that might help.
