Bledsoe or Roethlisberger?

Seriously what is the point, of course a majority of sheep would take manning or any other overrated bum over bledsoe. He's younger and supposedly better in all facets of the game.

Also if I really wanted to I could gather my minions and instruct them to vote for Drew on whatever message board we choose. I also know some other undesirable trolls that I could call upon to do my bidding if need be...

Then take the bet and make a fool of me ?...lol...I can take it. Can you ?

I was wrong in an argument with you once. Do you remember ?

What did I do. I posted on here I was wrong and you were right. So belive me I can take it. I have been wrong in the past.

Gather your minions, choose you board sir.

Or are ya Yellow ? Like your Bledstud buddy ?

Put it this way.

Do you want a QB who can carry a team or a QB which the team has to carry?

Ill take the first which is Bledsoe. He has done it for the majority of his career.

Hell I'd take one that could lead us to the playoffs--- something the drewpie hasn't done in years.

I wish other people would realize this...it would save us a lot of trouble. But despite posting fact after fact they refuse to listen. ;)

At least he's kept subpar teams competitive and gave hope to fans that the playoffs were at least a possibility.....Put Peyton Manning or Tom Brady onteams with horrid offensive lines, no running game, pourous defenses, shoddy special teams, pathetic coaching, or no true playmaker on offense and see how well they perform.

Sniffle...

Last time I looked the Buffalo Bills in 2004 had the #2 defense in the NLF, the #1 special teams, a 1,000 yard rusher and the 25th rated passer in the league.

Now sing with me...

"Which one of these things are not like the others, which one of these things doesn't belong"

What this says to me is that you did not follow the Bills.

The Bills were #8 in points allow in 04 BUT they also allowed scored at bad times. First game of the year the Bills were leading the Jaguars. Jaguars got the ball and converted 4 4th downs to win the game as time expired ( TD ).

Later the year against the Jets the Bills were leading with around 2 minutes left. The " awesome " defense let them march right down the field for the winning field goal.

Steelers final game of the year. Shown up by 3rd stringers after they shut down the starters. They thought it would be easy but they were wrong and they never recovered. Both offense and defense played well against Pitts starters but soon as the backups went in everything went downhill. You could assume they looked over them.

The teams that Bledsoe has played on throughout his career have not been great. He came into the league with the Patriots ( a very sucky team ) and in turnt them into a contenter very quickly and a nuissance to my Bills.

He then went to the Bills and turnt a 3-13 team into an 8-8 team with him being the only new player from the previous year with a defense ranked 27th in points allowed.

What about 2003? Well. After losing 150+ catches and not replacing any of those players turnt out to be a bad move. On top of that Moulds went down with a groin injury which made Josh Reed the #1 reciever ( Moulds kept playing but was nowhere near 100% ). That season was fubar from the get go with what the team had to deal with.

Its clear most of you have not followed Bledsoe since he came into the league. Drew Bledsoe has made medicore teams contenders ( Dallas and Pats but they werent medicore they were horrible ) and very bad teams to respectability ( He saved the Pats and Bills from disaster ).

I actually remember a time when Bledsoe and Brady were on the same team; a team that was pretty bad with Bledsoe and then turned it on once Brady took the reins.

Here is another stat for you. In 2001 ( the year before Bledsoe ) Eric Moulds had 67 catches for 903 yards and Peerless Price had 55 catches for 895 yards.

In 2002 Eric Moulds had 100 catches for 1287 yards and Peerless Price had 94 catches for 1252 yards. Clearly he made the Bills and the players around him better.

In 2001 the Bills were 27th in scoring. In 2002 they jumped to 11th.

In 2004 the Cowboys were 25th in scoring. In 2005 they were 15th.

I am really tired of beating you guys down. Try to come up with something good before you guys post again.

At least the NE/Buffalo/Bledsoe fans always have an excuse for the guy. Seems funny to me that its always the offensive line.....or the running game....or the defense....something holding Bledsoe back. Is it coincidence that Bledsoe's offensive lines are always "bad"?

Like I said, slightly above average. Great signing for the price. However, I'd take Roethlisberger right now and not look back. QB would be set for a decade.

You would be right but we will never know what would have happen had Bledsoe not gone down. Afterall Brady did not light things up in 2001. This is where having a huge contract comes into play ( plus I dont think Belechick wanted Bledsoe anyway ).

The Pats also did not have much of a running game in 2000 .. A season where their leading rusher had 570 yards. In 2001 Antowain Smith ( sp? ) had a decent year. I read an article the other day that listed in games the Pats won he had averaged 86 or something yards and in games they lost he averaged 39. As he went the Pats went that year.

He had 18 carries for 92 yards against the Rams. I didnt know that.

It may be funny but you cannot argue the fact that the Bills offensive line for the past 8 years has been down right atrocious and the years after Parcells left the Pats the team was in shambles with Pete Carrol ( He quickly drove a good team into the ground ).

Many people fall in love with Bledsoes passing ability and forget that he needs help up front like anyone else.

Tom Donahoes downfall was when he got rid of over half the passing offense in one offseason. I think had he kept atleast Price things in Buffalo would have been different. Bledsoe - Moulds and Price had chemistry like that of Jim Kelly and Andre Reed. Was amazing to watch. I also dont see how he let their offensive line they had stay that bad in his tenure. He never tried to fix it.

In 2001, Brady had a rating that Bledsoe has only surpassed once in his career.

He had a completion percentage much higher than anything Bledsoe had ever done.

I would respond to this if it wasnt clear you are blind.

Heres a recap.

Qb Rating is not a good judge of a QB.

His completion percentage was good that year because of the type of offense that had to run for him. That was what labled Brady as a dink and dunk passer.

Brady also only had 2843 with 18 TDs and 12 INTs. You know.. The numbers the Bledsoe put up that got him ran out of Buffalo ( and Buffalo was actually a horrible team unlike the Pats ). Brady got a pass because the Pats lucked out and won the Super Bowl.

Even thinkingthat Bledsoe could not have done that on that team is absurd and ********.
