Bledsoe or Roethlisberger?

Ill give you the 3 wins, very nice. But look at the stats for the whole season, and you could see if he tried doing less, he probably would have been better.

and if he tried doing less in the KC game, we would have lost

blaming Bledsoe for trying to win games is dumb, and no QB wins everytime he's driving from behind, which you guys are criticizing Bledsoe for

not only did he win kansas city, but he scored 2 back to back touchdowns on our last to drives, each time giving us the lead, after our defense lost it.

good point, although it's hard stopping KC's offense for anyone

I remember a few games the Cowboys come from behind in the end to win.

San Fran , Eagles Game 2 , KC , Panthers and San Diego. Thats 5 games ( was there anymore? ) All of which Drew played a part in.

Again Gibbs... Atleast try to use facts and not what you wish to believe.

he's using facts, just conveniently leaving out the ones that hurt his argument ;)

believe me, im not ragging on our defense. not like they handed the TD's to kansas city or anything. our D was solid last year, we gave up a few big plays here and there, but we held our own, especially with the most rookie starters in the nfl and the yougnest avg. age for all players. im just saying it happened twice in the KC game, BACK TO BACK. bledsoe is a stud in the clutch, out of all the QBs in the nfl right now id take him right after favre if we had to come back down by a score with 2 minutes left.

I didn't read thsi whole thread, but I'll play anyway.

I would take Bledsoe.

Not because he's better than Rothfatburger, but for another reason.

I'm willing to bet that there are more QBs that have won ONE superbowl, then there is multiple Superbowl winning QBs.

I don't think Ben is great, I think he is just solid. IMHO, if you put him on any other squad than the Steelers, Colts, or Pats and he would struggle. Pittsburgh was the PERFECT fit for Ben.....he isn't asked to do much. I don't think Ben will win another SB.

So, I'd take Bledsoe getting his first over Ben winning another.

EDIT: I know Bledsoe has a ring, but I'm talking as a starting QB.

for the upcoming season - bledsoe. cagy vet with powerful arm and a boatload of experience edges out the unlimited potential of youthful "big ben".

at this point in their respective careers... i don't think a team can ride roethlisberger's arm. they're much likelier to have bledsoe deliver the goods.

beyond this next season... it's a ridiculous proposition. roethlisberger in a landslide.

i envy fans of any team with a bright QB on the way up.
