Bledsoe reminds me of.....

40,000 career passing yards, 2 superbowls, one ring...and he isn't even done playing yet...but let me guess his career .500 winning percentage and the fact he won a superbowl on the bench mean nothing right

Aside from the 40,000 passing yards, his numbers are somewhat pedestrian. Being the back-up in your team's only Superbowl win certainly isn't compelling grounds for admission either. Sorry, but unless Bledsoe seriously picks it up over the next 5 years, I don't see him having a snowball's chance in hell. Why don't you set it up as a poll and see if others think I'm way off base in my assessment? I'd be very surprised.

I'm trying to ascertain where this was previously stated in this thread. Perhaps you are confusing this thread with another thread ?

Or perhaps you have gone off the deep end in your "I love Bledsoe" spasm.

or maybe the 402 sacks or the 103 fumbles or the 181 INT's out of the 172 games he has played in...so off the top of the head that is 3 sacks 1 fumble and 1 int a game and you call that HOF worthy

Then why not the comparison of Bledsoe and Vinny?

i actually think vinny was sharper earlier on. of course he faded late in the year, but early in preseason and in september he looked better than the 8 attempts by bledsoe. i will wait a few more games to pass judgement on bledsoe. one thing i know is that if he's kaput we'll be toast again this year. not that romo or henson are that bad, but big bill will never throw them out there. he'd rather bring back quincy than play those two. no maybe not. (maybe bills experience with QC is the reason he wont trust his young guns)

Boy, I hope you are wrong, because Romo won't be able to do it as a starter week in and week out and Henson isn't ready.

then why do we have these scrubs on our team?

Drew will win you as many games as he loses....and he's a statue out there.

But, Ryan Leaf.

YOWSER!

Bledsoe reminds me of Jim Everett (I think that's his name). The ex-Ram QB that got into a fight w/ Jim Rome when Jim called him Chris Everett, because he played like a girl. Jim Everett had the same happy feet, and ball patting traits that Drew is exhibiting. So far, I don't see Drew as an upgrade of Vinny. If you ask me, it's more of a lateral move. You're just replacing Vinny's interceptions w/ Drew's sacks.

At this stage of his career, I wouldn't disagree strongly on that statement. But I have never seen a QB pat the ball so much and so many times. Thats been his theme past few years though.

Watch some film on Elway sometimes.....

I'm afraid you are correct.

Here comes Deja Vu from last year.

Ahh, don't you hate it. I think I've already gotten the high blood pressure back that I recovered from after the damn Sunder night Giants game. The sad thing is that Bill didn't learn.

You are a tool...please continue to compare future hall of famers to notorious first round busts...its truly amusing to me.

Drew bledsoe is ANYTHING but a future hall of famer.

- One superbowl appearance, a loss.

- Sackzilla himself (On the recieving end).

- Benched and Traded from Buffalo in favor of JP Losman.

FIRST BALLOT, I TELL YA WHAT!

Well, I agree with this. You look at Vinnie in the first 6 or 8 games last year and he's putting up Pro Bowl numbers.
