Bledsoe sucks thread

As a fan of the Dallas Cowboys for the last 27 years of my life I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind rolling the dice with Romo starting this week. Drew Bledsoe, in my opinion, has played enought for the Cowboys. The situation has gotten to the point that, instead of hoping for a touchdown or a first down in crucial situations, I am hoping the Bledsoe does not screw up. If a spectator like myself feels thay way, can you imagine what his teammates must think? Perhaps I am too overwhelmed by the loss against the eagles. I understand that we are 2 and 2 at the beginning of the season, but how far do we let this situation develop? Bledsoe is not mobile. Why did he not audible into a different formation allowing for a quick release? A friend of mine who is a Buffalo fan once told me that Drew held on to the ball too long while playing for the Bills. Today we have witnessed that exact situation. What does everyone else think?

Bledsoe is a .500 QB no more no less. The time he had to throw on some of those plays somebody had to be open. "THROW THE &^%*$ BALL!!!" was utter a few times from my living room.

I wouldn't cut him, but regulating hin to back up QB might be the smart thing to do.

I personally am ready for a change. Who the heck was he throwing to on that last play. That was horrendous. Worse than Quincy or Hutch.

Throw it away, I don't care but I'll put it this way. Keyshawn had a book called "throw me the damn ball" Bledsoe should get a book called "throw the damn ball".

Perhaps you are right. Should we cut Bledsoe we are without a solid back up for Romo.

we're going nowhere with him as a starter that is a certainty.

but i'd gladly take him as a "backup" to romo or anyone else.

Benching your QB to spark the team, sure, im all for that. Releasing your QB means you are replacing him with someone better. Im not sure Romo and his ZERO PASSES IN THE NFL are the way to go at this point. Get him some PT in some games, fine, and then if you think after the season that he's got enough to start, get rid of Bledsoe then. You do it now and the season's over. Instead of us just not making the playoffs, we wont win another game.

Honestly, I cannot think of anybody that is worse. Kurt Warner isn't starting anymore, he can't be considered. Brett Favre is stinking it up, but the rest of his team doesn't help because they stink. Last year, you could at least say that Bledsoe makes big plays and can throw the deep ball. He can't even do that right now. all of his passes are flat, he makes VERY bad decisions whether he is under pressure or not, fumbles all the time, gets sacked every other play. Seriously, is any starter worse?

Give up. Bill would drown 11 kittens in a sack before he benched his beloved QB. We'd have to be mathematically eliminated first.

True, but WHAT ABOUT THE FANS??????????? The NFL is suppose to be a form of entertainment not something that would make us do this :bang2:

If thats holds to be true, than it might be time for a new head coach.

Seriously, if any normal person performed as poorly at their job as Bledsoe did today they would be fired are docked pay. I am sure Bledsoe will come up with some excuse as to why he did not play well but all thats going to do is further turn the team on him.

The only way I see Bledsoe bouncing back permantly (not just one game against the Houstans (don't call them the Texans, they are not worthy)), is if he does someting to show his team mates that he is serious about winning and he is extremely disapointed in himself.

IF its just the same old, "they were blitzing me, the recievers were covered, the Oline was too bad, the sun was in my eyes, there was a mean man in the crowd making faces at me" crap then he needs to be benched. Man up Bledsoe, accept responsibility, vocally AND by your actions other wise shut up sit on the bench and make sure TO gets some water after catching passes from a real QB.

Do you only watch Boys games?
No. I watch as many games as the TV allows and follow highlights on the games that I can't see. Still, who is worse than Bledsoe? Tass made good suggestions, but you still have to count Bledsoe towards the bottom of the list.

I like your title but I think you need to add "to somebody on our team"
