Im pissed about the game, but some of you are taking Bill for granted. Witten, Newman, Julius, Gurode, Ware, Canty, Glenn, Spears ect.

this team was the 06 Raiders before him

Now we're the 05 Cowboys again

we aint winning one w/ Romo, and may never will

And that very well may be. Instead, we will go into next year with an unproven Romo or a proven loser in Bledsoe.

If you read what I have said it is quite clear. Romo may be horrible, but it is time to find out.

What if he is not and we find out next year that we flushed this year on Bledsoe for no good reason?

Again, I have no confidence in Romo whatsoever. That is not the point though. I do not allege that Romo is better than Bledsoe. I do allege we are not going anywhere with Bledsoe.

We signed Romo to a two year extension. Lets find out sooner than later if Romo is the answer...because Bledsoe has proven he is not the answer.

Truth of the matter is that we don't know if we can win a superbowl with Romo. I would rather give him a shot at starter than go into next year without a proven quarterback.

if ROmo is the answer, don't you think we would be seeing him instead of BLedsoe? playing him now would be pointless

now I could see if you wanted to get him some playing time...

but I'm done w/ this topic, it's pretty pointless to be arguing something that won't happen for at least a year

Thats sort of where Im at.

I actually think we can still hit the wildcard this year w/ Bledsoe playing all 16. But I really cant see us going into Chicago, Philly, Seattle, Carolina ect. and winning with Bledsoe. Romo? Maybe, but its not a forgone conclussion

can you imagine what chicago would have done to us today?

we don't know if romo can do it or not.
we do know drew can't.

i'll take my chances on the unknown than to keep doing the same thing w/drew and expecting anything different than he's ever done.

i said this when drew got here - look at his past and you can see what you're ilkely to get. above average qb at times, rattle him and he's one of the worst. philly just rattled him pretty bad and you saw it in his performance. once he's shaken, he's over for at least that game. for such a vet he's got a fashion model ego it seems.

Agreed....Romo's mobility can give us a dimension that Bledsoe obviously lacks. I don't know how many games we can win, but I don't see us beating anyone in the playoffs with Bledsoe. Bledsoe has consistently proven during his tenure with the 'boys that he cannot win the very close games.

Exactly, I don't know why Bledsoe did not audible into shotgun when the blitz was about to come up the middle?

idk, but we could go farther w/ him than a greenhorn

That's not the point. The point is that this team needs to find an answer for the QB situation while guys like Glenn and T.O. can still play at a high level. Romo might not be the answer but that's what we need to find out and quickly. WR tandems of Glenn and T.O.s calibur don't come around all that often and they wont be around too much longer. The sooner we get a QB that doesn't choke when the game is on the line, that's when we will go "farther."

i think some people fail to realize that every QB or well u go further every player at one point was UNEXPERIENCED!!! no player no matter what was thought about them, was a sure lock to be a great player. you gotta to play the player to find out more about them and see how good they will be, if Romo doesnt play then we will always have questions about him because he has never played. even if he does make mistakes its better to have him in there than Bledslow because there is a chance he will improve while bledslow even though he is a veteran he still makes tons of mistakes that supposedly only unproven players make regurlaly. SO PUT ROMO IN!!!!!!!!

I agree, tandems such as Glenn and TO do not come along often. I believe Romo's mobility can create for the Cowboys. Bledsoe hold onto the ball far too long and he is slower than dirt.

When my 7-year-old son says, "Daddy, Drew Bledsoe holds the ball too long. Why didn't he throw it with all the time he had?" you know with Bledsoe as your bus driver, the trip is gonna be a short one.

Expect more of the same against teams with good defenses and competent defensive coordinators. :(

If Romo plays, I'm sure there will be mistakes, as with any inexperienced QB, but I don't think he makes the same mistakes Bledsoe makes that loses games.

You know I am a huge Drew Bledsoe fan but I am really disappointed in how he has performed this year....7 INTs in 4 games is sick! After watchin the game today they were atleast 5 plays were he held the ball waaayyyy too long and why in the heck would u take 2 straight sacks when you are trying to catch up and have no timeouts? If we would have gone deep in the game besides that throw at the end maybe we could have spread the defense a lilttle more so they wont pack the line so much. I just felt as if something wasnt right with Bledsoe at the beginning of the game when he had that grounding call....I was like what the heck? I am just really disappointed and I cant believe he has performed the way he has....even in our wins he havent been all that great either.

Benching your QB to spark the team, sure, im all for that. Releasing your QB means you are replacing him with someone better. Im not sure Romo and his ZERO PASSES IN THE NFL are the way to go at this point. Get him some PT in some games, fine, and then if you think after the season that he's got enough to start, get rid of Bledsoe then. You do it now and the season's over. Instead of us just not making the playoffs, we wont win another game.

Yup it never pays to replace a veteran qb with a younger player, just ask Bellichek!

The only way I see Bledsoe bouncing back permantly (not just one game against the Houstans (don't call them the Texans, they are not worthy)), is if he does someting to show his team mates that he is serious about winning and he is extremely disapointed in himself.

Yes, but to prove he felt really bad for being such a poor player in such a critical position, he would need to commit hari-kari, and killing himself, which would prove that he is indeed sorry for losing the game, might also prevent him from playing next week, so we're back where we were at the beginning.

Nope, a heartfelt "I'm sorry I messed up, guys" won't get it done any more. Bench Bledsoe, and start Romo.
