Send me the film on Jerry I would like to see all of the plays that he missed.
Start in the 1997 offseason and dont skip a year....Dig deeply into 10 years of Jason Garrett...if you cant see it then what other sports do you like watching because you need to leave this one alone...

BP said the same thing about Romo, its not like its a secret...it was also one of the things BP liked about Romo.
I’m pretty sure BP was talking about a QB on the field, meaning a QB thinking he can do too much and causing negative plays instead of taking the loss on the play so to speak. It was only to the effect that anything outside of football affected such tendencies on the field that he cared at all.

For some throwback news

--------------------------------------------------------
13. Speaking of Brady, if you didn’t know, his former Patriots teammate, Drew Bledsoe, apparently greatly preferred backing up TB12 to former Cowboys star Tony Romo, who now broadcasts for network rival CBS. But now, we definitively know. "Romo, you know this is true,” Bledsoe said on a feature during ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.” “The minute that he became the starter, he became pretty big in his own mind. He was no longer the curious, inquisitive guy. That was the difference between him and Tommy. … All of a sudden Romo was the guy that had all the answers."

By the time Bledsoe got to Dallas he was garbage. Bledsoe felt better losing his job to Brady(hind sight) because of injury, then losing it to undrafted player because he sucked.

True, doesn’t mean his comments were fueled by jealousy…..he might be 1000% correct Romo got a big head and didn’t stay as hungry as Brady.
Are we talking about the same guy that played with a punctured lung, the same guy that played with a herniated disc in his back?

Romo is not Brady. Nobody is. But saying the guy didn't leave it all on the field and didn't work his *** off to get better is just lazy and comes off as hater talk.

he literally talked about Romo having a big head and having to keep him grounded...again i think thats what he liked about him.

Bledsoe, jealous of Romo?

Dude actually won some games in the playoffs. Romo never even came remotely close to taking snaps in a Super Bowl. If you want to say Bledsoe is jealous because Romo married Miss Iowa, I'll hear you out.

I don't think the statements are far off. He was always arrogant and aloof at the same time.
Right when all settle and done, Drew career lapse Romo's. At the end of the day Romo did nothing for the Cowboys. He can have all the Cowboys records. It doesn't matter at the end of the day. No rings, means no comparisons to greats in Cowboys land.

Umm…he said that to the media. I don’t what that has to do with him.
My comment about BP saying he needed to keep Romo grounded was a comment he made to the media.....I have no idea what BP and Romo talked about to each other....

I think he was talking about when Romo won the job, early in his career. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was young and arrogant early, matured and worked harder later. Then again, maybe Bledsoe was being a hater too.

Well said

I know there's an ongoing discussion at times as to which Cowboys QB has been treated more harshly by fans and media (Romo or Dak)

I'll tell you this, Romo hasn't played a meaningful snap in basically a decade and people like Bledsoe are still crawling out of the woodwork to bash him

I would wager that whatever people think of Dak, by the time he's been gone 10 years folks will let it go.

I get not everyone was super positive about Tony but the vitriol he got (and continues to get) from so many people still boggles my mind.
