Bledsoe

So are we saying BP will not give his coach a say in what players he brings in?
BP won't be the guy on the sidelines.
IF he is just going to have a puppet coach he may as well hire Dave Campo.

If Bledsoe turns out to be the starting QB for Miami, then keep a close eye on his backup. Whoever that may be will turn out to be the next stud QB in the NFL.

you think guys think bill might look to get brady quinn by any chance?

Actually, I wouldn't be suprised if it is Chad Pennington.

On the nosey.

He was selected by Parcells.

He is a Parcells kinda QB.

And he's got no future with the Jets.

What about McNabb as a Dolphin? If Philly drops him he might be considered a Backup QB by many in the league, which means that Parcells will start him. ;)

If McNabb leaves Philly he will go to Minny. And I bet he's very successful there.

That's assuming if Philly will let him stay in the NFC. Isn't he going to be traded if he leaves there?

I heard McNabb will end up in Chicago. That is his hometown and they obviously need a QB.

I don't doubt that BP will look to bring in a vet QB for Miami because frankly the Miami QB situation is a joke right now. I doubt it would be Bledsoe but I do think he will look for a guy who can hold down the fort until Beck shows he is ready or another QB is drafted.
I agree. A guy like Pennington would be a decent fit with Parcells. I think they draft a QB this year as well.

I think if Miami plays their cards right they can trade the overall #1 to get multiple picks and still be able to select a QB like a Woodson who is projected to go mid 1st rd. As you said bring in a guy like Pennington or UFA Marc Bulger if they are willing to dole out some cash

Bulger is not a UFA. He signed a big contract this year. It is what was used to set up Romo's contract.

Posts about Bledsoe should be prohibited.

Those were dark days indeed.
Oh lord. People act as if we were a terrible team under Bledsoe. We weren't. Too much of Bledsoe's performance in 06 is remembered as indicative his tenure here. He had a very good season in 2005, if not for Petiti and Tucker at tackle, who knows how far he could have taken Dallas?

Thanks for the correction, I just saw his name still listed as UFA evidently the list was not updated

Michael Wilbon would have an orgasm on air if that happens.

Ah, Bledsoe a subject near and dear to my heart.

Bledsoe had so much talent, over the top talent, what he lacked was HEART. He just wanted to go back to his home and stare into space. But even without heart, he did OK. I was so glad when he was gone.

Rule #1, Parcells likes old players that he knows.

Rule #2 Parcells is a kick a** coach and that only works for a few years.

Rule # 3 Without the coaching talent around him, Parcells is not who we think he is.

Oh, and Pennington is a great (well, very good) QB. He just played for the wrong team. He may not have the arm talent, but he has the ultimate heart. Until the RAT went to the Jets I used to like the Jets because of Pennington. I am thinking he may go to NE as the backup.

Why is Brady so good, HEART, and just enough talent to make it super. Fight, fight, I will not lose.
