Curious, how long did Bledsoe sign for and do you think he will play it out or be released? I hope after he is gone that we have a good plan, (see Phillip Rivers), and dont try to go with the experiments like Henson or Romo that will set us back a few years. DAQBN! (Draft a QB Now). Im as happy as anyone with Bledsoe and he will probably be good for us for 1 or 2 more years but we need to groom a QB for the future so when our D is ready, so is our O.

bledsoe signed for 3 years if i'm not mistaken, as for his future replacement, i have absolutely no clue... i'm fairly positive though it will be somebody not on our current roster.. as much as i'd like to see henson take the reigns, i really don't see him being successful and i don't think that bill will let long as he's head coach

Bledsoe could easily be our starter for the 2006 and 2007 seaons. He will still only be 35 years old in 2007. If he stays in the great condition he is in and we keep him protected, He may even play beyond that.

I would say Two more seasons after this year is VERY likley. We should consider ourselves lucky if we can have him under center for more than that.

First legit leader and QB we've had since Aikman.

Of course, that all depends on whether or not Bill Parcells is still the HC of the Dallas Cowboys.

Maybe after the big tuna leaves we can tempt Greg Williams away, like they did with Norv.
