There was a shot of him after the controversial call and Green Bay was running out the clock. Witten's face was red and he seemed almost in tears. I feel so bad for him. He's such a warrior and he feels the clock ticking. He doesn't know if he'll have this chance again. My heart hurts for him (and Romo). All we can do is wait and see if they ever hoist the Lombardi.

The good news is that history is in their favor. When teams get jobbed like this, the NFL obliges. See Raiders in 2002, after the tuck rule, and the 2010 Packers after they got a bad non call in Arizona in 2009 playoffs.

Jason Witten: "Any time a season ends this way it's emotional. You get a pit in your stomach b/c you think you are going to go all the way."
Witten: To end this way its sour. But as a leader of this team I dont know Ive been more proud of a team. We emptied the bucket every Sunday

Witten = Warrior

I hope Dallas can get a Super Bowl win before he retires.

Witten deserves one.

Jason Witten is the pure definition of a football player and should be in the HOF first year he's eligible. He truly loves the Cowboys, always has.

Without a doubt the player I hurt the most for that they didn't win it all.

He's my favorite player currently. Only Emmitt Smith has ever been above Witten for me.

I want him to win a ring with the Cowboys so dang badly.

Bad as the call turned out, our defense was epic fail on the last drive. Couldn't make a third down stop even on a tipped pass.

We should have had the ball back in a 2 minute offense.

I miss living in Dallas because I can't see the post-game. Anyway, Witten was splendid today. He always plays tough.

I'm new here. I grew up in Dallas but live in Baltimore. Hi everyone. :)
