No, absolutely not.

What I want is for the site leaders here at the Zone is to recognize that the crazy amount of Dak threads is like an invasive species destroying the biosphere of what could be a healthy NFL forum.

You guys, with your crazed hatred are the equivalent of the carp or snakehead fish polluting our NFL waters with what amounts to an overwhelming amount of “trash fish”, preventing those of us with regular ol’ “Cowboy Talk”, from having a place to carry on reasonable discussion.

Pappy, you are the poster child for the toxic environment here. You know it. The staff knows it, and God knows the tank and file know it.

Now, have a seat and let the adults have a reasonable discussion.
I can't imagine letting the goings on here at the Zone get to me this much. Especially with the available options to sanitize your experience and create the safe space you seem to need.

Don’t stir the pot. Are you seriously disagreeing with the arguments I made?

If so, then continue to assume (reassume) your chosen role of agitator. I get it that it’s your “shtick” but you self selected that role. No one assigned it to you.

No one forced you to be the “provocatuer”. You chose that, with your affected pattern of speech and your silly avatar and persona.

Not sure why that adopted identity is important to you, your reasons are your own, but don’t play innocent now.

Pappy, Rockford, and you (among others) abuse this forum like it’s your own private playground where you can continuously create drama.

I just want this to be a place where fans can talk about the Cowboys.

We can agree, disagree, or refuse to engage, but there is a profound issue and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s carryover from previous forums where the idea of disruption and discord was accepted, but it’s just not right:

When does healthy discourse devolve into a cesspool or flat out hostility between posters?

I don’t like it and I don’t think I’m alone.
Who are you? Suddenly a voice of moderation when before you were lost in your cute fury and bombast.
Your posts disappeared for a reason. Yes?
Maybe your disregard for decorum? Maybe your wild assertions? Maybe your many violations of rules?
You hem and haw, backtrack and bluster.
Signifying nothing. Nothing.
Someone is in your head, and you canna deal with it.
Heh.

Man, Didn't even know Mac Engel was still around.
Excuse me...let me correct myself....
Man I didn't know that hack is still around.

I skimmed through the article, reading most of it. Just another reporter giving his opinion rather fans agree or don't.

Dak is slowwwwwwwwwww and it shows.
Unless he has 5 sec + we are in trouble.
Throw in the deer in the headlight syndrome well we've seen the results haven't we now?
When was the last time anyone has seen this happen on the field?

So many good captions for this ; so little time

”I can’t quit you and I don’t care who knows it”
”there’s gotta be a better way to do a full cavity search”
”a little more to the left”
” we’ll just tell them I’m doing the Heimlich”
”are you sure you guys used to do this to Tony too?”

Did anyone actually read the article?

The whole thing is about how good Dak is at seeing the field and the conclusion is that they struggle when he doesn't - like EVERY quarterback.

I'm TOXIC because I tell it like it is about inepto Prescott.
Well, you better look around bud as I'm not alone and another one of Dak's accomplishments is a divided fan base.
Maybe you and your Dak lovers are the TOXIC ones selling Gold when we all have seen its Bronze........
You're toxic because you a) never shut up and b) don't care about fact.

lol @ Mac Engel's new word 'Yesishnope' from the article. Let's use it in a sentence:

"Yesishnope, there will likely be a Dak forum on CowboysZone."

"Yesishnope, there was ever a Romo forum on CowboysZone."

"Some members have made hundreds of posts over 20+ years wanting a sub-quarterback forum on CowboysZone but will that fact deter hundreds of future requests? Yesishnope."

Hey! That's catchy.

Hard to see the field and execute against any scheme if you only have 1 legit WR, an injured Oline, hardly a running game, a poorly designed playbook and bad game awareness playcalling.

Forget the people involved. Just imagine blank uniforms where you had no affiliation to the teams or players. Has anyone else ever seen this happen on any football field at any level? Every time I see this, I can't believe it happened on a professional football field. One of the most bizarre things in the history of the sport.

When your QB is a football mental midget he ends up in panic mode getting sacked by his own offlineman.
Yes, you are correct in all my years of watching Football on all levels this must be a first......and very embarrassing.

I hope everyone reads this.
You'll understand why he was so effective in 2016 .
As much as I loathe to praise Linehan, he recognized Daks limitations immediately and eliminated 50% of the field on most plays. Moved him out of the pocket so he had clear vision of the field. Most importantly bought him time to see separation.
As we moved him into the pocket, the problems began to show, starting with throws behind his receivers, as he's aged, this has become worse. As the play devolves as pressure increases he tends to only see his receivers and maybe 1 defender, not the second guy waiting to jump this below average desperation throw.
I wish him and us well.

I'll buy that. And to be fair to those CZ members who are consistently butthurt by any criticism towards Dak Prescott, I am hoping that McCarthy can design the offense to help Dak overcome his limitations. I think there's a good chance he will. At the same time, there's no point for Dak fans to constantly cry about Dak being a victim of some kind of conspiracy. As others have pointed out, Aikman, Romo and other Cowboys starting QBs went through periods of criticism in their careers. It's the nature of being the starting QB on America's Team.

Watch out we got Mark Twain on the board
I used to work for my father who was a writer himself (wrote 5 books) and was certified as a publisher while owning his own small publishing company. I bet I could win a debate concerning football, Dak and the Cowboys against that writer.
