Cup cake training camp has begun, put Dez on IR already a blister is no laughing matter.

Remember about 8 years ago when all the Wade haters were laughing at camp cupcake? These training camps under Garrett make camp cupcake look like boot camp in the swamp.

Dez is having an issue with a nasty blister on his foot that might curtail his practice schedule.

Have you seen those huge cleats he's wearing? They look more like basketball shoes than football cleats. I suspect they might be the reason for the issue.

Does anyone have a picture of these things?

What a noob. Always wear 2 pairs of socks when football season starts.

They put those on a lot of shoes.

They're so you can "stretch" the shoe to get the foot in without crushing the back support.

Everyone loves these skin tight cleats nowadays. Especially to skill player. They are almost impossible to get on with out having the loop. You can tell I have boys who play huh :)

The old veteran blister, strained quad/hammy in training camp.

I hate being a cowboys fan when I see how ignorant people post on our board. I can only imagine what we look like to other teams fans smh

I think most are being sarcastic, but there are a few who seem to be seriously upset at Dez for being slowed by a blister.

Learn something new every day. Thanks.

Mitigating injuries vs football preparedness. Two competing philosophies it seems.

Like I said in another thread Garrett is soft. Garrett's training camps have turned out to be as cupcake as Wade Philips's. The fact a blister might change his practice schedule is just mind-blowing.

However, this is probably more Dez. The dude is the biggest diva on the team. I'm not referring to his game day antics. I'm talking about week in and week out.

You do realize he's coming of surgery, right?

What does a blister have to do with his surgery? Also, didn't he say he's 100%?

We're talking about a blister here. A blister. The fact we're even talking about a blister is sad.

Because his training schedule is already modified as a result of his foot injury. I have not seen any source say that a blister is the cause of any modification.

You would think we would start the season out sharper because of these soft practices but we don't. It's usually a slop fest and the team just looking poorly coached in the first game.

Why would a soft practice equate to a sharp start? I would think the opposite.
