Blocking Private Messages

I think this feature should be taken out.

If someone sends me a private message, I should rightfully be able to respond to that person. I shouldn't have to be denied a response because said person is too afraid to engage in dialogue and is only intent on agitating.

Aside from the lack of sack involved in the situation, not being able to respond to an unsolicited spam message is quit annoying.

It is a built in feature to the software. Put the poster on Ignore and you won't receive the PMs.

I had actually typed up a decently-lengthed response to your spam message and then I was told that you don't accept private messages. I was courteous and genuine when I should have spent no time and referred you to a local university for a lesson in Sarcasm 101. But, I didn't. I thought I would type out a reasonable response and was informed that you don't accept private messages.

For whatever reason that would be, I dunno. I can't imagine anyone's inbox getting so hammered with unsolicited messages that they need to actually block them all.

So, I'll just assume it was meant as nothing more than a move to try and antagonize.

Actually, we can ignore you by banning you though we require a unanimous vote and we haven't been able to sway that last mod over .. it's a work in progress though
